It was a fumble...pure bullshit, I'm almost to the point where I want to see instant replay go away...half the time they still don't get it right. At least I pushed but fighting for any win I can get, what a crock.

Sure as hell thought those idiots in the stripes were going to call that a safety. Most of the games have had some poor calls in them this year, but that had to be the absolute worse officiated game I've seen. It was fucking brutal.
Wild end to the game and I loved the fight from my Hawkeyes in the 2nd half after getting demolished in the 1st half.

The Hawkeyes offense was a shitshow. The only players on that field who deserved to win anything were the Hawkeyes defense.
Indeed. Might have been a better outcome had Rudock not gotten hurt, but he sure as fuck wasn't playing very well before he did.
On the other hand if Mettenberg would have played this game would have been a rout.........Beckham and Landry would have run wild on Iowa's secondary....
As far as I know it would have been a safety but they said LSU declined the penalty. Not that it matters but why decline it...game over either way.
