wow, the same poor kid had the last two off of his hands. Last one was a tougher catch than the prior play.

Les Miles just confirming himself as the worst coach in CFB. Ugh... I can't believe they didn't cover 6.5.

Big time pass interference not called on that last play. Man, heartbroken again, at least they covered but I lost a lot I would have made on UNC ML and moreso wanted my team to win esp with all the circumstances and coming back etc.

Tough loss to take and tough to watch the guy get molested and no call.

What is up with what appeared to be a blown call on the onside kick? The UNC player clearly struck Alfred Blue prior to the arrival of the ball, but Ref did not overturn after reviewing the footage.

Does anyone have any clarification of this rule?

I don't understand why it was even questioned...but maybe I'm wrong.

I thought once the ball hits the ground, your free to hit anyone. I'm pretty sure I've seen onside kicks back when you could put 10 guys on one side...they would sometimes put 2 rows of 5 guys...the first row was used to knock people out of the way, 2nd row was to recover. Might be why they changed that rule...

Still, I think once the ball hits the ground, there is no more kick-catch interference...

Also, a punt might be different. But a kickoff is a free ball. You have to give them a chance to catch it in the air, but again, I think once it hits the ground, you can hit anyone as long as you do it legally.

Anybody can hit anybody the only thing that cant happen is the kickoff team cant touch the ball the 1st 10 yds unless the receiving team touches the ball first which happened on that play. LSU touched the ball first which makes it a live ball. If NC touched that ball first within the 10 yds then its illegal touching and its LSU's ball.
