i see what you're saying 3 sec.......but when big 10 and sec teams meet, i find it hard to believe that either one wouldnt be up for that game

The B10 and SEC almost always meet in January bowl games. Not exactly the Blue Bonnet bowls of the world.

I agree the Championship game should be the winner of the SEC against USC every year! And we know that USC dominates the SEC! So therefore USC will forever be the National Champs!
Why play any more games?:mj07:

EXACTLY!!!

The SEC should get together and predetermine the best team in the Conference. Then, to keep the same length of time for a season, etc etc, - just have a....

Best of 15 Series of games between USC and The Predetermined "Best Team" in the SEC. Each week they play at a different conference's school stadium just to spread the money around and let everyone see a game or two each season.

If OSU loses this game it will somehow be called a "speed issue" and the eye test tells me these teams are even in that department.

Maybe a discipline issue though...some very dumb penalties by OSU have hurt them. Usually those roles are reversed.

Man, all I did was say something about Michigan and look what happens.....like i said 5-1 the last 10 bowl seasons vs the SEC. So, what, none of those SEC teams were fired up to play the Wolverines?

That said, to repeat what I said earlier, this is weakest ebb i have seen the league in a lifetime of following it.....cripes, a 2-10 team from a year ago rose up and got the Rose Bowl.....somehow.

Just look at these OSU teams. Are they any better than some of teams from the 1990s.....no way.....Penn St has rebounded, kinda, and had some nice bowl seasons, but nothing like the powerhouse they used to be.....even my Wolverines have been stale and poorly coached/prepared for several years now.

And, there had not been a strong "middle class" in recent years.....lot of teams in flux, like MSU and Minny, or just plain stale/stagnant like Purdue/Iowa.

Maybe we should pay attention to the game....its getting interesting.

Wells would have 3,000 yards and 3 heismans in the SEC, no wonder Tebow went to Florida:142smilie

OSU didnt watch enough film from the Auburn-LSU game. Chop block is definitely the goto move for them to close out this game. Look for it in desperation late in the game when they get the lead down to 7

Come on Bucks, prove that LSU isn't all that! LSU is the luckiest team in America and could easily have had two to three more losses.
