Thank you for providing the facts of the two cases. Regardless of who plays or doesn't, I expect an entertaining game.

Good luck this season with your capping. Let's make some cash.

I just wish Miles had released this chump. I'm out of the country, yet can tell this issue is creating too much negative pub. Good luck, Joe:toast:

it is creating negative pub on a very national level at that - John Feinstein does a little 1 minute cut-in during commercial breaks for the Jim Rome show and his story a couple of days ago was on LSU/Miles/Hill and what a joke it was that Les's defense was that the team voted him back on:facepalm:

Sorry Fans and Followers, I for one am more interested in the Georgia game, then the S. Car game, then the Vandy game. Last comes the LSU game. Based on out of conference records since the BCS not giving TCU much hope, ask Oregon!
As for the RB, he should be kicked off the Team, If LSU 5 or 6th string RB couldn?t share time with the starter at any school in the nation with exception of Alabama I would be surprised.

Go Horns.

Can someone describe what kinda team TCU is bringing back?
I see that their TEAM total wins is at 8 at my book for the season.

Defense was #1 in Big 12 last year and #16 nationally I believe. Returns 8 starters. DE Devonte Fields and CB Jason Verrett are the top returning starters. Fields of course will be out two games to start the season though due to unspecified team rule infraction. Thin at LB depth though. Was also a concern last year too, but wasn't that bad. Gave up the occasional big play in the middle though.

The Offense is the question mark. Can Casey Pachall still be the same QB he was before being suspended last year? RB Waymon James comes back from an injury. Transfer RB Aaron Green gets his chance to show what he can do. Transfer WRs Ja'Juan Story and Josh Doctson have had good camps. Offensive line is thin at depth and lost two guys, one a starter, before fall camp started.

8 wins would be good to me.

I lean TCU... But what concerns me is TCU is thin at OL and LB and their best defensive player is suspended and best LB quit... What makes LSU good year in and year is their size and physicality and how much those wear you down during the game...

Joe - how do you think TCU matches up with them?

I think -4 is a gift in this game for many reasons. TCU has some very good players but the one thing that will hurt them is lack of depth. Losing the guys they've lost along with Fields being suspended is just too much. Add to that you have a QB that is making his first start in a long time and I just don't see how they can hang. The OL for TCU would be a BIG concern for me if I was backing them. Even at full strength before the season started I wasn't sure if they could hold LSU for the whole game but now I just can't see it.

It might be a close 1st half but I think LSU wears them down with their running game and rolls in the 2nd half.

On paper, not very well because of the depth issue. A LSU fan posted on the TCU message board that LSU's depth may be a question too, but I can't believe that.

TCU is fortunate to get LSU first game. Any team will struggle with a new offense out of the box. Have to hope Metz doesn't have it down yet and TCU's secondary gives him fits.

TCU has a way of giving power running teams a good game. Wisconsin should have ran all over TCU. Kinda did to an extent, but TCU held them more times than not.

TCU finally has some tall receivers. I believe this is where TCU has somewhat of an advantage. Casey can get the ball out quickly and is tall enough to see over the line. Unlike Boykin last year getting balls batted down every game.

If TCU wins, it will be by 1 or 2 points. If LSU wins, it's no more than 4 to 6 points. That's my gut instinct right now. The more I read up on Fall camps will determine how I bet. More than likely will bet the total though.

What I want to know is if there is any truth to Metz having a back injury.

Yes, Casey being rusty will be a big question mark. OL depth seems to be a concern every year for TCU though. And they seem to piece a unit together enough to win. LSU's big front will definitely be a huge test. 2nd half will be interesting if first half is close.

I can't wait to see this game. Really wish Fields was going to play. Wanted both teams at 100% so no one could have an excuse ready.

If TCU cant run the ball they are screwed. LSU front 7 is inexperienced and that's there biggest question mark.
