Spanky 1 was a REAL Heinz 57 -a mix of everything. She had to be 14 1/2, then swole -up with cancer and we had to have her 'put down '. It killed me.
Spanky 2 is a white Spaniel -3 1/2 years now.
This old Spanky is going on 50 the next B. Day. As for breed, just caring parents. My Dad is 75 Tomorrow !!!!
Spanky..........:D :D :D

3 female chihuahua's in our household.

They are the cute long haired chihuahua's - not the alien looking short haired ones.

There names are Panda Kobe & Baylee.

I never owned dogs until a couple of years ago and frankly never really wanted dogs. However I must admit to getting quite attached to the little buggers and wouldn't be without them now.

:)

Unless they shit on the carpet.

2 Bernese Mountain Dogs: Reggie, and Yogi.

The best large dogs I have ever seen with kids, and other animals.

The only drawback, is that their life expectancy is only about 9-10 years.

Never had a dog and always HATED them, till my wife came along and made us get one...

Now i have a 1 yr 2 month old female German Shepard, (Kora) who is like a daughter to me.
I ended up liking the mutt so much that i went out and get her a playmate last month!
Add in a 12 week old 1/2 Black Lab and 1/2 German Shepard (smedley) and i have a full house.

Anyone know any tips for getting these two dogs to get along? All day long they just chase each other around and beat the crap out of each other. And it aint the big one protecting her turf, its the little one being a monster

Dogs are cool. I love dogs. We have a Weiner Dog and a Pikenize. The Weiner Dog always tries to bang the other one since he is a male, and she is female.

Marine, it takes dogs a while to get along, it took my dogs a few months before they stopped fighting, even now, after almost 2 years, they get into it sometimes.

Have a chocolate cock-a-poo(spelling?).The saying that "it's a dog"s life"hasn't seen the life this dog leads. It seems like she has us trained.(LOL!).

Marine,we were thinking of getting another dog also but have been hesitant because we were afraid of having the problem you are having, them getting along.I heard that you will have a problem if both dogs are alpha's.I guess one has to be leader & the other has to be a follower.Similar to marriage(LOL!).

2 dogs.. it is fun and it is hell on earth.
Thus far the training of cute lil Smedley had gone smoothly and at a faster rate than the training went with Kora. I think it is in part due to smedley seeing kora get rewarded for shitting outside and not on my carpet. :)

They keep each other occupied for most of the evenings, which is good too. Before smedley we had to lavish kora with attention or she would go nutz and tear the house up. Now, the two keep each other busy fighting over toys and treats. The barking I could do without.

Its entertaining tho, smedley is a mere 12 weeks old and no bigger then a boot, kora is a 65 pound bitch. But yet smedley has already learned how to play "red rocket" and will climb on her back and start humping away at the back of her head...

that sight alone is worth having two dogs

3 dogs, 2 fawn boxers (1m/1f) , 1 very large fawn Dobe. All great dogs, great personalities. Love the Mountain dogs, Bohica, wanted to get one, ended up getting the dobe as a gift from a customer, before i was able to locate a pup. Love the dobe now, nothing like i expected, he is 140 lbs solid w/fawn color and golden eyes. beautiful dog and he gets along great w/the Boxers.

Man's best friend. Hard to believe but it's true. I have had Labs and Golden Retrivers. Like both. Very good around kids. And once trained. They do as told. They are very good looking breed of dogs to.

she eats steak and hamburger, has her own spot on the couch and her own spot on the love seat (depending on her mood) and she even sleeps with us.

we have 2 mutts that stay outside, Sadie and Lillie, both in the 15 pound range. they take care of the outside and gracie takes care of the inside of the house :D

Right now i have 2 mutts. I always get Mutts because they need homes. Pure breads are usually stupid and have tons of health problems from the inbreading. Besides, why pay $300-$1000 when you can give a homeless dog a good home. I've had as many as 7 dogs, at one time, but that gets ridiculous.
