The facility does not have to be posh. The more who can handle it the better. Meeting everyone and the comradery will make the day/s.

Do those espn prices come with hookers?
I'm still not sure whether I'll be in the area the weekend of the 8th or Labor day weekend. I'll know more by the end of next week. I hope to make the festivities.

ok..I spoke with the park avenue country club and hudson sports bar,,,both very good laces to watch games..have 2-8 big screens with 20 more tvs...of course satellites to broadcast all the games...anyway, since we will only be twenty, looks like, it is no problem to get a huge table for us in a premier spot to view many of the screens..they said minimum for party arrangements is 50 PEOPLE..I mentioned we only wanted to spend 100 bucks per head and spend the entire day..they said no problem...we can meet at ihop, or some other place for breakfast and all go to the sports bar together at noon....this will be fun!!!
so sign up if you are serious about attending???? and having a MJ party!!!!

o.k. boys its time to step up to the plate.i would say anybody witin 300 miles should be at the party.we only need 20 guys to make this happen then lets book right now today.i just want to meet everybody so we can put a face on the names in this forum.if we all get along who knows maybe we can take a golf trip to hilton head,or florida.im in i dont care where we go or how much lets do it and stop talking about it.

I'm gone for a while and MJ's is coming to the city? Damn, that's cool.

I wouldn't recommend Park Ave Country Club. Nice place, but you can't see more than 3 big screen tv's from any table. A little posh, but not bad. Actually, if we get the far room there are 3 big screens and several smaller tv's. But there are definitely better and cheaper places in the city.

If you want more of a pure sports bar, there are plenty of them in the city. Ship of Fools on the East Side is where we have the USC Fan Club meet every Saturday. We get about 50 people in one room, we have 3 large screens and 5 smaller tv's showing games. Drinks aren't even that expensive (for Manhattan). There are a million places like that in the city.

Nothing wrong with Park Ave CC, but their prices are definitely a little steeper.

Anyone driving in, remember you're gonna be dropping $20 a day in parking...

bonovox, the manager said he would line up tvs for our viewing pleasure..but if you can get a good deal at a good place to watch games...go for it...and let us know.

dam it! just realized the bills opener is on that day sept 9. vs. new orleans at home, at this time i am thinking about still coming and giving up my tickets, was really looking forward to that game, but just found out today i'll be going down to pittsburgh this week-end for a meeting to discuss our future plans this year. we opened up a warehouse in pittsburgh 1 year ago and are about to move them into a new facility. the meeting is for there move along w/the possibility of our buffalo location also moving into a new facility. my problem right now before i make any definite plans w/you guys is to make sure this possible move does not interfere w/this get-together.

i am really looking forward to metting many of you's especially the MAD one himself!

i will get back to you's on this early next week,don't think a decision on this move will be permanent over week-end. i will be posting over week-end and if i find out them i will make my commitment

The Marriott Courtyard at Seacaucus is $99/night for double accommodation if anyone is planning to stay over. It is easily accessible and close to the Lincoln Tunnel which takes you into the heart of the city. As I said earlier,I will be more than happy to assist with transportation.

This could be great fun and a chance to make some friends. May even become an annual event.

Get off your butt and let's do it!!!!

Take the train into the station in the city. We will shuttle you tho your room , back, etc. If you are planning to stay overnight, let me know if yu want to stay at the Marriott Courtyard in Seacaucus.
