I've never cooked on a green egg but from what I've read that thing will hold temp forever.

Can you use any lump coal in that or does it have to be the green egg brand coal?

I LOVE the lump I use. It is a good add to the apple wood that I use.
Screw the BGE brand, I use whatever. I just bought a 40 pound bag from SamsClub for 15 bucks. You can't beat that.

30 minutes, one will get some sauce. The other rack will come in dry.

The corn I got was the "hit". :mj07:

It sure was sweet and tender.

I was disappointed in the ribs. They always turn out a little different. The kids love 'em, the wife doesn't eat them and I thought they were so-so. Mom ate at bingo :SIB

Ah, shit, I have 4 more beers that I will drink then I'll turn in early so I can be all bright eyed for the dentist tomorrow. Crown fitting.
