Looks like you played better on the back, Jack. Now you have all day to drink, too. Well done.

And, studying Shakespeare today, these words to guide us in our imbibing endeavors, from Hamlet:

"The king doth wake tonight and takes his rouse,
Keeps wassail and the swaggering upspring reels,
And, as he drains his draughts of Rhenish down,
The kettle-drum and trumpet thus bray out
The triumph of his pledge."

Translation:
"The king is staying up all night drinking and dancing. As he guzzles down his German wine, the musicians make a ruckus to celebrate his draining another cup."

MadJack's Sportsbar translation:
"Jack stayed up all night drinking and typing. He he guzzled down his liquor, MadJackers typed and cheered him on, to celebrate his early morning golf hangover, in preparation to lose golf balls on the course of the kingdom."

Now, back to work... :SIB

6 lost balls and you drove it decently and hit irons good? That doesn't sound right.

I shot 43/44 (par 70). Putted very well. Still not getting of the tee for shit.

2 lost balls I hit too far and went in the creek. Crushed those 2 drives.
2 lost by hitting the green and didn't hold and I couldn't find them. I almost felt like cheating and not taking the strokes because it just wasn't fair but I sucked it up.
2 were really bad shots. A duck hook into the lake and a long pushed fade into the woods.

Bad break day. They happen. I'm sure I'll have many bad beats/breaks in the next 10 days too.

No way. You'll be taking at least one tourney down.

After you collect don't forget to hit Smith and Wollensky's for a dry aged ribeye and some chocolate cake.

Good luck out there.
