Korbel is known as the "champange" of Brandy. I realize most of the country knows nothing about brandy, but in a nutshell, it is a distilled wine that has been aged in oak barrels for a time. For the real conisseours, check out the Alambic distillery in Napa California. Korbel would compare to a Maker's Mark for Whiskey, or say maybe Appelton Estates for Rum. Since I dont drink Gin (Boodles?) or Scotch (J-Walker) any more, I cant compare those types of "quality" for those who drink them. Definitely not the Top, but certainly close, and not a rail choice by an stretch.
In a large cocktail glass, the slice of orange, one or two cherries, 4-6 dashes of bitters, and a tsp of sugar are ground up to make the base. Over the top is poured minimum 2 jiggers of the Korbel. Press of course means 1/2 sweet and 1/2 sour. Then the garnish is across the board. However the orange slice and cherry are the traditional, but many do olives or in my case, the pickeled mushrooms. Never tried the "Magic" stuff, but was always wondering about that :shrug:

Shake over ice or blend, garnish with a lime

Even tho Jack fired me i figured what the hell i will, for the boys clean this shithole up like old times. Not bad tonight. No cigarette butts, empty nasal spray containers, no porno mags, no shark teeth, and no fluffanutter. Not a bad clean up tonight. Gonna get out of here early. Not gonna open up till 1pm tomorrow so guys that have been "discipline" need to keep it up untill 1pm and not 7am in the morning
