PBR #2?????wife's making creamed tuna..:0038

Mo you will get a kick out of this as it was a :facepalm:moment for me

One of my fav little hangouts is called Phat Bites and when they 1st opened couple years ago all the beer was made at Fat Bottom brewery ... beers were $3 pints but they had a beer called Phat Beer that is $2 ... I really liked it and was always my my "go to" beer there as you cant beat a $2 pint

was there the other night and asked if Fat Bottom was still doing the Phat beer ... bartender says that they had never done it and I would know who makes it ... made a couple of guesses and he finally says its PBR :mj07:

all this time never knew and was my fav beer in there

so I stopped earlier today and bought me a 12pk of PBR and see if I like it as much at home as what I thought was a "premium" beer at the pub :toast:

Good story. :toast:

We were at a fund raiser for youth hockey at "99 restaurant" last summer and they had $2.29 draft specials and they were damn good. It was hot that day and they were going down pretty good and I asked the bartender what kind it was and he said "Gennesee" also one of my favs from the past! :toast:
