Damn, you work on the docks, do charter fishing and you drive around an island on a scooter how sweet is that. I know the dock work has to be tough and the people you deal with aren't that great but to live on a small island and zip around, you probably know everyone there.
I work on a dock at a Marina, charter Capt. Jeff is my buddy, I don't do charters, no Captain's Lic. though I may pursue that... Have a scooter and a regular vehicle. Scooter gets about 100 miles per gallon, 3 miles one way to work, one bridge...
Right now we are under construction for dry stack boat storage, doing rental boats only now. I can piss a Cuban off :mj07: , car business background & the I don't have to rent you a boat you non-English speaking motha fugga:mj07:
Don't know everyone yet...but have met alot of long-time residents, fulltime resident population of Islamorada is about 6800. Have a great Landlord...hard to find here anymore.
