Savannahian Scott Weeks will play for a spot in the U.S. Open at Bethpage Black on June 8 in a U.S. Open Sectional Qualifier at Ball Ground's Hawks Ridge Golf Club. Weeks shot an even-par 72 and won a five-man playoff in the local qualifier at Beaufort's Secession Golf Club to advance to within a stage of the U.S. Open. Weeks, a Savannah Golf Club member, played collegiately at Georgia Southern.
Scott made an appearance tonight and had a few beers with us. Hopefully he comes through on Monday!

Friday night, stopping in - having a little Schnaaps and some Corona's - the wife is gone for the weekend, and just have to study some and take the boy to his first varsity basketball summer tourney tomorrow. Looking forward to him mixing it up with the "big boys".
