Sorry, I kind of wussed out tonight - did some homework, and just couldn't get into the mood. I'll be here early and open things up tomorrow. I'll try harder on Saturday...
As promised, opening up the bar early today. Almost called in sick, but thought it would be bad form... after all, the Sportsbar's gotta be open early on Saturday's right?
Now, who's with me today? I have the perfect situation ahead of me today. I need a nice new mower, they are on sale here at the local Sears store, and it's raining all day, so once I get it, I won't be able to mow. I'll just admire how pretty it is, and powerful it will be, and then I'll just keep drinking and knowing it's too wet to mow my lawn.
Brilliant!!! And, in case any of the Belterra guys come in, I'm gonna bring in some help for all of us to look at and order from all day/night, but need to find just the right person. Will post soon... now, let's "Get it on!"

Hired this gal to serve the early shift. She seems hard working, well dressed, smiles, and has experience working at some place that has Jack in the name of it. :shrug:
Hmm, I think my new hire is getting bored. She's been doing shots with nobody to serve, and she's starting to get a little amorous towards me. Maybe I DON'T want any of you guys to show up today... :SIB
Dead today, starting on #2, and worried about the bottom line today. No business. As an active manager, I decided to hire these girls to hang out in front of the Sportsbar, and give them free drinks, to see if we can't drum up some business...
This joint is quiet today. Hey chad, maybe some dancing girls would liven things up!

Sorry, didn't see you guys, was out mowing behind the Sportsbar. Hopefully the morning bartender was not passed out before you guys ordered - and nice to see the girls getting some shots. Let's get busy here tonight. I'll make a call and get some entertainment in here.
Very happy with my new mower, by the way. First time I've ever bagged my grass, and went up to a front drive mower - nice Honda engine - the thing damn near mows by itself, and my yard finally looks pretty sharp with no grass cut on top of it.
ANY way, will finish mowing, and pay more attention. Morris, can you run the place for a while?
Oh, and on #4 - a man's gotta stay liquified when working outside on a warm day... :mj06:

Mowing is done, all of the clippings fit perfectly into my trash container (bonus), and it looks seriously like a nice rain about to come. I love it when a plan comes together!
Son called from Yankee Stadium, having a great weekend, although the games have been a little boring from a run scoring perspective. He flew up by himself as kind of an adventure (he lives in Missouri) and saved up for three games of tickets, hotel and airfare. Of course, I'm paying for a lot of that, one way or the other, each month, but it's a dream trip for him. He's a Red Sox fan for some reason, so it's special for him. I'm stuck here mowing, and he's at Sox/Yanks in the new park - what's wrong with this picture?!? Glad he's having fun and staying alive in the big city.
Now, gonna shower, and line up the evening entertainment for the bar.

#5, and really getting going. Watching it rain down on my freshly cut lawn, going to cut up butterfly pork chops and peppers and hope I can sneak in some Ka-Bobs in between showers.

#3.....no rain here...nice day actually...can't believe it the way the summer has gone so far weather wise.
Here's the band I brought in for tonight. 3 Girl Band called "Tiffany Affair." They start at 9.
