I am serious enough to commit with reservations at this time. Is it too early to lock in a room?

Wife is concerned that there will be too much drinking. I have assured her that there will be non-drinkers there (like Fletch) and that if we choose not to drink that we won't be hastled for it.

Can fletch, jack or others offer any assurances to Kathy that we will be "ok" if we don't drink?

Let's lock in a room!

my wife doesn't drink and will be there as well. there are plenty that won't be drinking. non-drinkers will not feel out of place. promise.

I have a friend who lives in Henderson, who writes for the Rj who may attend as well.

Hopefully my Broncos will be there after a 3 year hiatus...

I'm just not going to worry about whether we will fit in with the rest of the crowd if we don't drink. Sounds to me like we will be fine.

I actually LIKE to drink but Kathy has a problem since her previous husband was an alcoholic. She says that when I drink it makes me crazy... but I think it really makes HER crazy because of all the bad memories of living with an alcoholic.

We look forward to having a good time during Super Bowl weekend and I am dropping this subject because I am pretty sure that it is rather annoying to many people on this board.
