planning on attending...... count me and my better half in for now. work schedule could interfere, but unlikely.... gonna book flight within the next couple of weeks and then hold my breath that i can get off of all 3 jobs at the same time. Unfortunately it's impossible to non-rev to LAS around superbowl time, but at least by purchasing a ticket, i'm guaranteed not to be stranded somewhere that i have to drive home from.

Well, about the only thing that could get me excited about Las Vegas at this point is the prospect of a free MJ's Super Bowl party.

I may actually make it out there this year with Chioma. It's been 3 years since my last one so hopefully I'll still recognize some of the folks.

Vanished into vortex
TECHNICALLY, I am not allowed to take vacation that week, we got some silly rule about taking all your vacations in the calendar year they are issued, but AFTER your hire date since that's whey you really earn them.

My hire date is first week of March so I guess I can't take a vacation in Jan or Feb, but have to take them before 12/31, WTF, what if you were hired in December and have 4 weeks coming, you gotta learn to ski if you want to go on vacation?

I'm looking for a loophole, if I find one I'll be in and let you know ASAP?

Anyone else have a policy like this at work?

kneifl..

shouldn't you have waited until a place for the superbowl party is confirmed before booking airline passage ?

If it turns out we don't have one I'll go down with my wife anyway. I was really wanting to make a trip in Early December, but that got shot down and we'll be in Colorado instead. So February during the Superbowl sounds like a great time for me and my wife to go party (I hope) or no party.

I know it doesn't make a difference, but this flight cost me $20 ($10pp) w/frequent flyer miles.

So Cal
Count me and my wife there for sure - someone needs to keep Fletcher and Rex under control and I guess that will be me!
