I have maidana ahead...1 announcer has kot up by 2 and the other has it even.


rd11-win or lose, maidana will be somebody to contend with...kots rd mid way...mad needs to presss...hes taking the rd off for some reason...mad really slowing dwn this rd...mad coming on a little....mad could have won it had he strted earlier but ill give it to kot...

something tells me he`s not gonna get the decision,though...

I have it 7-4 1 maidana...dec coming up...kot the better tech but maidana pressed throughout...VERY GOOD FIGHT. I cant complain if Kot wins it close but i honestly think maidana won

honestly thought that maidana won...he won the first 3 rounds and hurt kotelnik...kotelnik`s face was a mess...maidana was barely marked...

maidana finished very strongly...

the announcers were horrible...they were saying that maidana didn`t go to the body enough....

believe me,he did a ton of body work...

this was the type of damage,imo that may effect kotelnik down the road...

that`s homecourt for ya:shrug:

was a great give and take bout...glad i saw it first hand...

You aren't the only one thinking Maidana won.
This split dec would have restaured my Hoya losses had it gone my way.

I'm running a string of very close calls lost that have erased any profit these last 2 years.
That's the nature of the beast.

I'm still not in the lose though.

Congrats on the win Wee! I was impressed w/the kid, especially with his lack of world class comp. I had mad winning 116-113. I'm curious to see if either of the 2 judges gave the last rd to kot. That cost mad a draw if they did. Mad clearly won 2 1/2 mins of the rd. The announcers were making the kid out to be one dimmensional. He has pretty good skills and I can pretty much guarantee he'll be a future champ. I doubt if Kot would want to tangle with him again. Props to Kot for hanging in there. The ruskie was one tough bastard to absorb those shots and still fire back like he did.
