David Stern better go lightly on these players...They said on Radio Artest was hit with a bottle and beer before it started.
WFAN RADIO says ARTEST caught the guy and gave him a beating....... Which the scumbag deserved .
These people that do this chit are cowards ---they figure the guys hands are tied, but not this time.... Fawk David Stern and his suspensions..where does the league draw the line with these scumbag fans?

holy f*ck just watched the whole incident. artest should pounded more fans. let jackson go ! he should have beat some more fans too. those fans were throwing stuff at the coaches and all the players as they left the court. detroit fans should be punished period. artest was laying on the table and got blasted in the face with a cup or bottle ? jesus !

To me Ron was as much too blame for this fight as anyone....................Laying on the table like the KING OF DETROIT..................Then when the chit hits the fan, Ron jumps up and leaps into the stands....................if he wasn't laying there playing being hurt this chit wouldn't have gone this far........boot his ass as well as Ben's!!!!!!!!!!1

You can't have fans getting away with that type of assault because they pay for a ticket..and those identifiable fans should be arrested.

I ordinarily would never condone going into the stands,but not this time, I'm glad they went after some fans, that little pale white dude deserved Artests fist in his face, then Stephen Jackson went a little overboard, then that fat white guy threw 2 or 3 punches(cheapshots) from behind Artest and deserved what he got, also any fan on the court deserved to be knocked out, that first fat slob got it good then that other slobby guy too...then all the liquids and garbage thrown at these players going into the tunnel was crazy shit. Watch ESPN at halftime to get a better perspective but I am not backing the fans on this one
I think they are going to break down the fight tape like it's game footage at halftime of the Kings game. Don't know if I can take listening to Steven A Smith talking about it but I am interested in seeing it again.

The second outbreak involving O'Neal was just as bad. He jumped headlong into a group of 10 or so fans after he was pelted with liquid leaving the court. There were some big punches thrown by both him and the crowd.
And, I know it's kinda been glossed over, but the original Artest foul...Was just stupidity anyway!!
