I'm not questioning whether or not he will be successful in the discipline of journalism, I'm questioning whether he practices the discipline at all.

Yeah, seems like Deadspin has reported a ton of inaccurate information. You point out a great one regarding the December 6th phone call. Quite a big difference between a phone call alerting to a hoax and receiving a call that appears to be from the person that was your girlfriend and died 3 months previously. And every Irish fan around knows to criticize the 80% remark.

I?m sure Notre Dame and Manti are going to have a field day filing a libel lawsuit against Deadspin. Strike that, I?m sure Manti and his agent will do well in the lawsuit and recoup whatever millions of dollars they cost the poor kid by hurting his draft stock.

And if that doesn?t work, I?m sure he could start in Catfish 2 and earn some extra coin.

Team He gay and was in on it. 90% of the people I've seen calling him a "victim" are ND fans. This is the normal reaction considering PSU fans were slow to put down their "rally for joepa" posters last year.

At least some comedic gold has come out of the situation, which I can appreciate.

" Keeps showing people sitting next to no one. Uncomfortable chuckles throughout arena

The way he answered the Couric question of whether or not he's gay was just....... incredibly homosexual. facial expressions, tone of voice, actual answer... all came across as strong homosexual pineapple

The Katie couric interview aired. Deadspin covered it , I'm surprised you didn't hear about it.

I stopped going to that website. Figure it was just worthless junk with no redeeming qualities and especially no journalistic integrity.

Thanks for the heads up on the interview, I dvr?ed the rerun of the Katie Couric show (airs at 1 am, odd but I?ll take it). Looking forward to a night on the couch, a bottle of wine and catching up on the twists and turns of this epic story. My wife wanted to watch a Lifetime movie, but I think I can convince her this is just as good.

I also may breakdown and read any new stories posted online about it. It?s just too tempting. Kind of like when you are in line at grocery store and can help but reading the headlines of the National Enquirer.

You can save some time and just go back through my posts to summarize what happened since me and Manti seem to be of one mind.

But it's worth the watch to see a story of sorrow, betrayal, confusion, cynicism overcome by family and forgiveness.

Considering all the time that you've invested up to now on this story, you should probably spend the hour to get some closure.

I'm sure Mr. Poon spends enough time reading fairy tales to his children.

No real need to hear the fairy tale that the Teo's are putting forth.

fast forward to 2020 and Teo is retired from the NFL after being one of the biggest busts in recent memory.

he and Ronni Tuiassossopo are happily married living out their life in Hawaii where Teo was given a job as defensive coordinator for Hawaii. The "Rainbow Warriors" were far more accepting to his lifestyle choices than Notre Dame who shunned him after the truth finally came out.
