I had to head back to madison for daughters braces deal that ex forgot to tell me about ..was looking forward to meeting you...Marq campus is just west of you.My parents graduated from there.Will you be bk around anytime..I'm in Waukesha alot which is just 15 mins from dble tree

I take it you did'nt stop at the strip club in Beaver Dam, you would've mentioned the midget stripper (kind of famous in those parts)...so I've heard. When You check out GB stop at Curlys for a quick one. Interested in hearing how your view of Beertown is so far?

I'm down next to the mall and have eaten at a couple great restaurants. I don't mind the cold but the freezing blasts of wind chill you to the bone. I'm in a large overcoat which I never wear in the South and after three blocks, I was literally shaking and cold in all extremeties.

How the HELL are there SO MANY homeless people in Milwaukee?!!?!

Another day on the road. A guy comes up to me at a gas station to get directions.

"You look like you know where you're going," he says to me walking up with a piece of paper.

"Man, if you were here 3 minutes ago you'd seen I was trying to put the gas on the wrong side," I say laughing.

He laughs, and says he's lost. Told him I'd been there and he looks confused... So he's on the right street a mile from his destination and I show him my GPS and where it is but we're facing north so it's backwards. I tell him to turn right and not left as we're facing the opposite direction... Guy asks if I'm sure... Tell him, hey, you wanted the directions and damn it if doesn't pull out and turn the wrong way. So I chased him down, U-turned him like I was herding cattle and got him to the address. He must have been late with his shipment because the shipping dock guys were all waving as I pointed to turn right. Bastard kept coming in his delivery truck and had to turn around.:mj07:

I heard him yell THAAAAAANK YOU as I swung back around and hit 94...

This stuff happens twice a week. Last time it was an old lady who needed a jump.

I can see Winnebago from my house. Still a little too early for me though.

There will be better ice in two weeks after this cold snap.

I'll be in Appleton then Shawano tomorrow. Have fun in GB. For the record I'd skip Curly's or #4's steakhouse and hit Chili John's on Military Ave. That or Krolls across from Lambeau. Those places are more "Green Bay".
