There was a time when (like many here) that I drank too much...smoked, gambled, etc. etc.
Then I grew up........lost friends and family to alcoholism
Not Pretty!!!!!!!!!!!! Watched other families crumble....
Adjusted priorities without spousal pressure...Figured this little saint deserved that and more.
Finally gave up smoking
Only drink on special occasions....never more than a couple.
And.........put gambling in perspective......a hobby, a pastime and not to interfere with the real deal.....family, kids, responsibility etc.
For me....US......its better that way!
