Round 2 play (4pts):

Tiger Woods to beat Lee Westwood -120 @ Bet365 [also available @ SkyBet and Expekt]
Have profitably opposed Westwood in recent weeks and will do so again while his form is so indifferent. He had a very mixed round yesterday, closing with a bogey, so his game is a long way short of last year when he finished 2nd. If Tiger manages to find the fairway more often - not that difficult at Augusta - he should shoot a lower score today and at least be on the fringes of contention heading into the weekend.

[unofficial rd2 system plays: O'Hair tb Fisher -110; Woodland tb Quiros +105; Kuchar tb McIlroy -103; Kuchar tb Westwood -109; Woods tb McDowell -174; Woods tb McIlroy -120; Mickelson tb Rose -150; Mickelson tb Ogilvy -155; Kuchar tb Fowler -120]

Sorry about the Stenson play. I absolutely loved the fade on Clark. I mean that information was seemingly priceless. I dont care about course starts or recent form. I have made 1,000s on that type of injury info.
If you read Clarks comments afterwards, he was just as surprised. He said he thought he might have a hard time breaking 80.
"Q. So how good is 1-over with as much pain as you've been in?
TIM CLARK: Well, I mean, nothing to write about, but it's obviously -- I could have come out here and not broken 80 for sure, so I just think I'm kind of stubborn and just sort of fought through it. Again, just to be here at Augusta, it's just a dream to come and play this tournament. So when you're given the opportunity, it's tough to walk away from it. Really that was the underlying factor. "

Like i said, thats why they call it gambling. A lot of people had Marino over Clark, and that looks like it will cash and my other 2 plays looks like theyll cash.. so it is what it is.:0003

was this close to dumping a truckload on this same wager. glad i couldnt fund the account i set up there as it sure looks like the only way to win is a wd/dq from clark as stenson is already at 7 over thru 4 holes.

Same thing, I stayed up til 1 am trying to fund it. Tried all my credit cards etc. Even online western union.

Thank you gambling gods for not letting me hammer this bet.

Oh yea, I will make up for that post on Clark (who still did miss the cut). I was really excited and tried to help everyone out.

Last year, I used my winnings to purchase this setup.
Let's be great.

Round 3 play (4pts):

Luke Donald to beat Lee Westwood +110 @ Pinnacle [available generally]
Rather fortunate to get the win yesterday as Westwood played much better than expected, but at least Tiger was back to his best. But one good round doesn't make Westwood the player that he was in 2010. Donald has finished ahead of him in each of their three common events since the start of the year and has a 8-2 h2h lead over him in 3rd round scores since the start of last season when Westwood was playing well. So with Donald recording the same number of top-10 finishes here as Westwood, but in half as many events, I can't see any reason why he shouldn't be the favourite against Westwood rather than a good-priced underdog.

[unofficial rd3 system plays: Stricker tb Mickelson +160; Marino tb Baddeley +110; Scott tb Baddeley +132; Casey tb Johnson D -105; Yang tb Barnes -117]

Round 3

J Rose +125 vs N Watney

Watney seemed to be a pretty popular play heading into the week, but I was a bit wary that he had "peaked" a bit in his early 2011 run - evidence in 1st 2 rounds may suggest same as only Jimenez and Overton had less G's in Reg amongst players who made the cut

Rose was in danger of missing the cut yesterday, then played his last 11 holes in 5 under securing the weekend - he's got to feel like he's playing w/ house money and that "freerolling" mentality should benefit him the rest of the way

Round 4 play (2pts):

Martin Laird to beat Miguel Angel Jimenez -104 @ Extrabet
On form alone, this should be an easy win. Since the WGC-Cadillac Championship, Laird has finished 10th, 5th and 1st, whereas Jimenez has been 55th (of limited field) and mc. And whereas Jimenez has plenty of experience around this course, Laird is making his debut and so an opening 74 was, perhaps, to be expected, but he has shot 69-69 since and looks set to confirm his position in the top-20 of the World Rankings with yet another strong performance this week. Against Jimenez, he has shot the lower round in rd3 or rd4 since the start of the 2010 season in common events; he continued that run yesterday and should do so again today.

[unofficial rd4 system plays: Stricker tb Jimenez -150; Kuchar tb Palmer -150; Laird tb Molinari E -130; Garcia tb Matsuyama -140; Garcia tb Quiros -104; Mickelson tb McIlroy -160; Woods tb Quiros -167; Rose tb Barnes -125; Stricker tb Poulter -120; Kuchar tb Watson B +105]
