Also, he better give Silva the Jones fight if Silva really tells him he wants it. 4 fights left on his contract with UFC.
Tell Silva fight Griffin then GSP and I will give you Roy Jones if that is what you really want in exchange for a contract extention.

While I agree on most points with you keygray, I think you're wrong about Fedor.

The UFC has nothing to gain, and everything to lose by signing Fedor to HIS TERMS.

Also, the UFC is where it is today because of their business model. Sometimes it pisses me off as a fan, but I understand their side of it.

Yeah I know Fedor had terms that were unacceptable as well which was true.
I THINK DANA TOLD US THAT. MANY TIMES!!
Neither Dana or the Fedor camp has handled bringing him in all that well.

I agree that bringing in sideshows is a very bad idea, but I think there would be curiosity in Jones more than this is a gimmick attempt was my only point.

Everyone said Brock was a gimmick and then he lost to Mir and everyone laughed at UFC and White for doing it. Time has corrected that.
If Jones puts up a solid showing then no shame whatsoever in doing it.
If Jones gets beat down then Dana can run his mouth about MMA better than boxing like he always likes to do.

wanna generate some interest?...stick silva in with chad dawson...

silva/jones proves nothing... a publicity stunt...

Did anyone else see Dana on ESPN E:60 tonight.
Just confirming he was still an ass in case anyone had forgotten.
Miletich and Tito both said every word he speaks is a lie. That was funny.

I like Dana.......when I was at the MGM I was super impressed as to how nice he was to me and all the stuff he did for the fans in the lobby. He gets bashed so much but the guy works his ass off for the sport you gotta give him that.

I like Dana:SIB

And ummmmm Tito may not be the best guy to count on for an unbiased assesment of Dana :mj07:

In news.......Kimbo to fight Reggie Jackson at DREAM 11:142smilie

Tito made a good point in this show and Dana did not. Tito said he was dumped on the UFC insurance policy after he required a $70,000 surgery from a UFC fight. Tito said he has made this company $146 million which I don't doubt.
Dana said he talked bad about me so he didn't get insurance help.LOSER.

And I gotta take Kimbo in that one unless they fight in October.

And I don't agree with Dana being good for MMA anymore. His ego has gotten too big and is going to start holding the company back.
He said he thinks the UFC will be bigger than the NFL one day.:mj07: :mj07: :mj07:

True....if they fight in October Kimbo is in trouble.

As for the back surgery....I do think MMA fighters get paid crap, Tito ain't one of em, he did fine. But yes I do think UFC should have paid for the surgery. With that being said, the insurance company denied Tito claim because of his Tito's mouth.

Kick please give it a break. What is he supposed to do treat all the fans who pay for his salary like shit? He is a business man first and foremost. He came off on that interview like a possessed douchebag business man trying to crush anyone who gets in his way. Even for this interview he still can't contain himself and that filthy mouth of his. Anyone with an ounce of sense would have been turned off by his interview. I bet if i was running an organization i could make him look like a complete ass over and over again. He obviously has a short fuse and someone with a little street smarts would be able to push his buttons so easily and have him apologizing to the fans on a weekly basis. Eventually the Frieda's will have no choice but to replace him. Unfortunately there is no one out there that will push his buttons. Tito would be perfect at it because it is obvious he pushes Dana buttons. He calls the unname source(in the womans article) a pussy for not revealing his name when this fuker knows full well that he holds grudges and surely would fire him in a NY second. I would hate to have to work for a guy like this. Worrying every day what i am saying because he might be in a bad mood and feel like firing that particular day. I would be wiling to bet that 90 percent of these fighters are not happy but what can they do? They open their mouth and they get fired. That is why unions are formed. To deal with assholes like this. This is also why monopolies are illegal and he almost has one. Dana says he has made more millionaires then Wall Street. Does this asshole realize that these guys are risking their lives every time they go out there to fight? Im not sure the guys on Wall Street are. Other then that i have no problem with Dana :SIB

That was a classic line. I guess a guy can shoot for the moon but he is insane for even suggesting this. Especially with this snooze fest he has coming up this Saturday. His top two fights one he has Matt Hughes who nobody wants to watch anymore and the other could possible be the most boring fight of the year because of the fighters styles. Bigger then the NFL :142smilie
