USC barely beat VT & VT was nowhere near as good as they were heading into the Sugar Bowl. Auburn would give USC fits.

Thanks for the Walmart comment as well.If you had any sense you buy stock in Walmart instead of gambling of football, Einstein. LMAOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

Get a clue:

I'm saying the game would be tight if they played. Auburn plays D unlike OKlahoma.

Your logic is flawed here. USC happened to be returning a young squad at the start of this year. You're giving Tech a break, yet you aren't for USC.

That may be true in large part, but who's to say that USC and Norm Chow wouldn't have thoroughly prepared for, and perhaps dissected, the Auburn D as well?

Maybe some of you are misunderstanding my point. I think Auburn would give USC fits & a better game then Oklahoma has as they actually play defense & have played tough competition unlike Oklahoma.

Auburn, at home, gave USC a 'great' game last year. Wasn't even competitive.

Teams haven't changed 'that' much to where Auburn is nearly as good as USC.

All kidding aside, I think that the Utah team we saw Saturday night could beat the Oklahoma team I'm watching right now by 14+. It's one thing to lose, it's quite another to get embarrassed.

I would HOPE Auburn would give USC a better game. Oklahoma's play has been a total "TRAVESHAMOCKERY". But your statement is still hypothetical, and until the two teams actually meet on the field, then we are all guessing.

And who's to say that Norm Chow wouldn't have prepared an offensive game plan as effective as tonight's? Or that USC's speed and coverage wouldn't have created turnovers as well?

Umm, not that big of a difference.

USC, if they played Auburn ten times, on average I would say at least 10 points better than Auburn on a neutral field.

Where do you think Oklahoma ends up in the rankings? They shouldn't be in the top 10.

when a team gets a new offensive coordinator it certainly changes things hoops. does this mean that a team that gets blown out by a team one year has no chance to beat them the next year??? i didn't know that.

let's see.......

take away norm chow from sc and it's not that big of a difference?

i tend to think that a new offense and new offensive coordinator does make a difference, but maybe i'm in the minority.

QB -Jason Campbell has matured and is twice the QB he was a year and a half ago. That would make a HUGE difference in that one factor alone. Also I think we see tonight in Norm Chow that a offensive coordinator can/does impact a game dramatically. I'm just saying that ANY team from a power conference whether it's SEC, BIG 10. 12,Pac 10 whatever, that goes undefeated and wins it's conference championship as well as their bowl game, deserves a National Championship. PERIOD.

Heaven, oh!!, this isn't it?!
Well, :142lmao:
After all this posturing it should be:

1 USC
2 Utah
3 Auburn
4 Texas
5 Oklahoma
6 Michigan
7 Iowa
8 Tennessee
9 Virginia Tech
10 Georgia

But this is what it will be because of the politics;

1 USC
2 Auburn (dont anyone dare bitch slap the SEC!!LOL  )
3 Utah (Got Buttpoked the whole season)
4 Oklahoma (Only one loss, wahhaaaa)
5 Texas ( Went to the Granddaddy Bowl-won first time out  )
6 Tennessee (dont anyone break the code of silence-the SEC is the best  )
7 Virginia Tech (it was a close game, yea right :142lmao: )
8 Georgia (Oh yea, they are in the SEC! :poke )
9 Iowa ( Wow, they beat an SEC team!! :scared )
10Michigan (It was an entertaining game  )

Anyone who thinks Auburn would give USC a game is on dope. It would have been more of the same, just like tonights dismanteling of OU :142lmao: Lets face it, We have an easy champion, the rest, who gives a shit

If Auburn wanted to make a statement, then do it on the field, just like USC did. And they did not have too. All they had to do was win the game.
If Auburn pitched the shoutout, and did not let up like they did, ran it to 23-0 or more, they might make claim to a shared title. But they let up, and in turn, gave up, unlike a true CHAMPION!
It will be interesting to read all the BS from here on out though, maybe this is why they dont do a playoff :cursin: . LMAO.............

Hope you all had a succesful Bowl season, see ya next year!

franky,

your #2 team didn't beat a ranked team all year. (pitt and a&m won't be in the final poll). give me a break.

you're right anyone who thinks auburn would give sc a game is on dope. give me a break. sc plays one great game all year, which was more a product of ou mistakes than sc dominance and you think they can walk over everybody????
