Floyd Mayweather Net Worth: $170Million

There have been times in the past when Floyd Mayweather was not as financially stable as you would think. After his fight with Ricky Hatton in 2007, which was one of the largest paychecks to date, the IRS announced that Floyd owed $6.1 million in back taxes. Soon after he was also sued by a Florida real estate developer who claimed Mayweather backed out of the purchase of an $8.5 million house, he allegedly owed the first installment of $1.7 million. Just a few months later $7.1 million worth of Jewelry was stolen from his home. In September 2009 Floyd was sued by JP Morgan for failing to make payment on a $528,000 Mercedes Maybach 57S. Mayweather borrowed $415,000 at an annual interest rate of 16% in order to pay for the car, he reportedly stopped making the $9000 monthly payment for over a year.

Floyd Mayweather denies placing $10.4m bet on the Denver Broncos after crushing loss

Mayweather says he didn't place a penny on the NFL showcase event and would only stake such a fee on a 'guaranteed win' of himself winning a fight

?For the record, I did not bet $10 million on the Broncos. As a matter of fact, I didn?t bet all,? Mayweather confirmed on Instagram.

This is why you fail. Lose with dignity

This is why you fail. That's juts stupid. When you make a few very large wagers a year a spread of 2 or less should always be on the ML. Especially when you could have got it at -120.

Don't mind him, bigdaddy. He's still in a daze after he didn't get to watch Bama in the championship game this year. :mj07:

Mayweather has a phenomenal record on these big bets. He is a very sound investor, and he will never go broke. He is risking six percent of his net wealth on this game. Not an overly crazy percentage. It sounds like decent money management to me. Amazing how people will shoot off their mouths about things solely based on their assumptions and prejudices.

I am damn glad to have MONEY on my side in this tilt! :00hour

Not in reference to your bet. It was in reference to your comment about me spouting off my mouth and the bama thing,,Geez,,,NOW,,,Tried some skunk the other day. Man,,I am a novice but if you can get past the smell it was pretty good,:0074,,and the reason I don't post any picks is because I am the self admitted WORSE handicapper ever. had Denver and over in super bowl.and was glad to split
