So Cal
On HBO Mayweather said he bets about a million a week on the NFL. So he will need the money. I heard Bob Arum on the radio yesterday and he said they would agree to testing by an independent organization - the same one that does NFL, MLB. He said that USDA has never tested a professional and only tests amateurs. Nevada State Athletic COmmission says that in its 40 year existence, no fighter or fighter's camp has ever requested a blood test. Maybe Floyd is the new commissioner.

Who knows what the truth is here. Could just be a hype for the fight. I like it to go the distance.

If it were any other fighter besides Mayweather requesting the drug testing, I would call hype but I honestly think hew is trying to get out of this fight without looking like he is ducking Pac Man.

Ultimately Mayweather's lack of finacial discipline will probably make this fight mandatory for him to get the IRS off his back.

But, I agree with ferdville, this fight should go the distance. I see Mayweather being very defensive in this fight. Mayweather, for the past few years, likes to fight big name, smaller opponents who are past their prime. He usually wins easy in the second half of his fights with his great stamina, but with Pacquiao he will have to use precision counter-punching for 12 rounds to win and that is very hardwork and a difficult block and counter gameplan to excute against an energizer bunny like Pac Man.

I like Pac Man by a close split decision.

The big thing I see about this fight, and what Floyd just realized.

Is that he is not going to be able to run and dance like he ls want to do. He is going to have to stand and fight or be boo d out of the areana. Oh shit.

I dont think Floyd much cares for that idea after all these years.

They are probably doing this to build the hype more on us. They know we want to see this one.

Could be biggest PPV in history easily

Yup, we all want this one. All this talk will only fan the flames and add more Exposure to the event. Too much riding on this for it not to happen. If it doesn't happen I'll put all the blame on Money May because in his gut he knows he can't win and is petrified of losing and looking bad.

Sharmba, Corley and Zab.

Sharmba was clearly past it when they fought. Corley was never quite really there when they fought but he probably hurt Floyd more than any othe fighter...albeit very briefly. Zab gave him one of his toughest fights but he faded in the 2nd half. Zab was nearly gone late in the fight b4 Uncle pulled shome shenanigans and bought a little time for Zab to survive the fight. I think it goes to show that May does have some trouble with southpaws.

This fight HAS to get made. It would have to top the list of Mega fights that weren't fought if this one doesn't get signed. A boxing travesty of epic proportions IMO.
