In wake of his actions Officer Casebolt resigned from the McKinney Police department.
Nothing has been said as far as if this will prevent any criminal charges.

Just some GENERAL INFORMATION for all.

Hope this helps, in GENERAL terms I mean,
FDC

family was getting threats.....people on twitter trying to locate the family residence....
How unfair that he may or may not have received threats. I guess the threats were from someone other than a 14 year old girl that he could just slam to the ground. That's are way worse than being a 90 pound girl getting face planted by a 200 pound man you thought was supposed to have a job preventing that from happening. I feel horrible for him.

Maybe the cops down there will stop policing the area like they did in Baltimore? This country is heading for a race war of Biblical proportions, and Texas is a great place to start!

If it was my granddaughter in that video being slammed to the ground; let's just say that I would be wanting more than just his resignation. That girl didn't do anything wrong that I could see.

I can't believe that people are seeing this any other way.

That's all for my input except to say that I doubt this thread lasts long in general discussion.

What if we found eric casebolt's family & beat up the young girls in it. Would that b fair? If u live in McKinney, find his family.

the above crap is waaaayy beyond the pale....

jack...have you really followed this?...we`re seeing about 7 minutes of an almost hour long confrontation that involved around 100-150 teens.....

was he too rough with her?...that`s a fair question......but if you follow the timeline the girl wouldn`t obey the cops` directions in a volatile, fluid situation and was adding fuel to the fire.....

if you just look at the video (2:22 mark) she walks across the street when the cop said to......

at around the 3:02 mark she`s back standing with a group of girls and the cop was telling them to leave.... they do walk away....

at the 3:06 mark she`s walking back to the cop running her yap after being told at least twice to leave..what`s he supposed to do?.........that`s when he grabbed her and had some females appraxch to his left...then,two guys come up on his right(very close...essentially surrounded by a hostile crowd)......she had ample opportunity to move away and let the cop do his job....

it`s gonna be a long hot summer....

I've been hearing this my whole life. It will never happen. In fact, things gradually get better. Racists slowly dying off. :0003

goes without saying from me....:toast:

I`m out,too........nobody`s changing anybody else`s mind.....I don`t get angry over these discussions with guys I`ve been on the forum with for over a decade....these disagreements are s.o.p.....

unfortunately, people have abandoned Baltimore city and the riots made it even worse........when they start culling more tax revenue from the county to shore up the city(it`ll have to happen eventually),we`re probably heading to Delaware or south carolina....

my brother.....;)

Weasie,
I respect your opinion and your presence on here. You're by far one of my favorite posters. All I'll say is I had nothing to do with his career being ruined, he did that all in his own. The point I feel you are missing is that the entire altercation and ensuing melee was started by a white resident shooting racial slurs. You keep insisting that he was doing his job when in fact he was not. His "job" was to answer a 911 call concerning am altercation at a pool. He decided to round up the black kids rather than investigate the only actual crime committed. Had he done that, used his training, and simply followed the mantra of his position to protect and serve, much like the other officers present were doing, he would still have a job. He brutally body slammed a 14 year old girl and then grabbed get by the hair and did it again while the girl cried for her mother in fear. He pulled a gun on teens that were doing nothing more than what he was charged to do when he took the oath, protect and serve. That mantra encompasses all of society, including mouthy teenagers, even the black ones.

What I don't understand is your position that the girl basically got what she got because she didn't follow the rules, yet you completely dismiss the undeniable fact that he didn't follow the rules of his profession and not only is he the adult but he's a professional peace keeper. Be should have chosen a career be was more suited for if he couldn't control his temper.
