He's been authority on war front/generals for years now without ever setting foot there--wonder why he bothers to go now--oops forgot about the reporters and media :)

Should have field day with the socialist element of Europeans--but believe he better top notch security in Iraq-afgan and Israel.

That crackhead G W Bush hardly ever left the country and his father was head of the CIA, VP and president. How Hard could it be to go to a country and have a photo op and dinner?

It's the time line Matt--

He's had numerous opp to go there --and did once with group of congress but got to Iraq one day--and was only one in group to cut out the next and skip Afgan completely--but proceeded to act like authority on issue (saying our military is distorting facts-surge won't work blah blah blah)

THEN--after stroking his base with anti war rhetoric to get nomination--sees he can't win election with out sliding to middle so all of a sudden he now wants to see when before he could care less--and wants input from same generals he dissed before congress along with his Moveon militia.

The prob Scott is -a politician just left or right of center does not look so obvious when tweeking their position--
When you have politician with the most extreme liberal or conservative voting record in congress --it comes off a bit differently IMO
