Just a question if you have a player (Cink) vs. (Mediate) and after the first day one of them withdraws do you win if you have the guy still playing??

at the cut 72 holes 2-0 2nd rd 0-1

2nd rd 3ball
Els vs Howell and Burns Loss
Handled Howell but not Burns:confused:
I really liked this wager:(

72 holes
Choi/Immelman Win
Garcia to miss cut Win
pending
Furyk/Leonard 2 up
Petrovic/Austin 1 up

Garcia prop, despite win was poor wager as I did not realize field was so small till watching cut line which was determined by last group. A blatant error that was fortunate to escape. Even Duval made cut at over par--but then again Garcia only managed split in rds vs Annika last week and Jack this week so maybe justified for the #13 in the world:lol:

Looked at outrights to place in running today and will pass, considered Harrington @ 12 but with Singh,Furyk and Tiger substantially ahead of him, fighting for remaining place position does not appear worth the effort. Would almost rather straight win on Singh if pressed to wager.

3rd rd
Leonard -125 over Huston (-.5 strokes) @ Wsex
Janzen -105 over Huston @ $plays

Always hate to present opp to get double dipped but will bite on these. Huston back from layoff after shoulder injury and should be bit rusty, more importantly I have him rated as poor wind player with some nasty shit projected today, going against 2 vets with better than ave wind stats and some very solid current form.

Note Wsex line on Leonard/Janzen has moved to -130 but -125 still available @ 365 (ties lose) which is same thing.

Decent position at the cut with the matchups and a chance of a profit with the outrights. Would take things as they stand, though surely Perry can't hold to win again!

Ben Crane to beat John Daly -140 @ Moneyplays
Tim Petrovic to beat Woody Austin -120 @ Sirbet
Jay Haas to beat Brad Faxon -110 @ Five Dimes

TOUR NEWS - Perry leads

Story By: - Sportal
31/5/2003

Kenny Perry leads at the half-way stage of the Memorial tournament in Columbus, Ohio, while Adam Scott is the best of the Aussies.

Perry added a 68 to go with his first-round 65, for an 11-under 133.

"I wanted to shoot something in the 60s to get in position for the weekend and I was able to do that,? Perry told AAP.

"I'm proud of my round. Everything that can go my way is going my way."

He leads Retief Goosen and Lee Janzen by one stroke, with Vijay Singh and Spike McRoy two shots further back.

Chad Campbell is seven-under after a second-round 70, with four players, including Tiger Woods, at six-under.

Scott is one of five players at five-under, but the Aussie felt he could have done better than a second-round 72.

"I didn't play too bad but I made a few mistakes," he said.

Stuart Appleby is two-under for the tournament, along with Kiwi Craig Perks, a shot ahead of Peter O'Malley.

Peter Lonard fired his second 72 of the tournament, while Stephen Leaney also a shot 72 for a one-over total.

Craig Parry, Rod Pampling, Scott Laycock, Geoff Ogilvy, Kiwi David Smail and Stephen Allan all missed the cut, with Robert Allenby pulling out of the tournament mid-way through his round suffering from diarrhoea.

3rd rd results 3-0

3rd rd
Leonard -125 over Huston (-.5 strokes) @ Wsex Win
Janzen -105 over Huston @ $plays Win
Furyk -125 over Howell @ 365 (ties lose) Win

4th rd
Leonard -115 over Maru @ $plays
Maru -115 over Byrd@ ******

Leonard ranks 8yh in 4th rd scor ave and Maru 109th however somewhat tainted by injury.
Byrd has ventured into the 60's only twice in last 6 tourneys and will take Maru as the better player and sets up decent hedge.

4th Round Pick

4th Round Pick

Campbell over Cink

Going against the grain here. Cink and Campbell both are playing good this year. I feel Campbell is a stud waiting to win. I watched both last week and both had great rounds, although Campbell had a bad 3rd round. Campbell hits the ball hard and long but Cink not bad either. Should be a nice battle.

Campbell made a great comeback but fell one short. Watch this Chad dude.

Outrights: 2-1; +2.63 units

Singh 4th

Very profitable event with profits on the matchups, 18-holes and outright plays. Very impressed by Perry yet again who built up such a large lead over the first three rounds that he could still stutter in the final stretch and win comfortably. This really is a year for experience on the PGA Tour!
