Clive: I was watching the skills challenge last week and all players joke around in this event.Verplank flat out played poorly and when others joked with him he would have that forced semi smile look if you know what I mean.He looked ill and played poorly, however I am not positive I was viewing this event live.If event was indeed played last week I don't see how he can recover that quick to play well this week.IMHO
Efgee That was funny.Ian "the newly wed" is doing too much "undercover work" so to speak and Clive is not far behind

Nice one efgee - possibly not value on me at 5/1 - am planning holidays for the year at present - if they are more than the 5 weeks last year DTB represents tremendous value - possible ringer - Bettingmad who seems to be fast asleep still - did no-one tell him the season starts today!

uuuhhh?.... what???....
(pauses to wipe sleep from eyes)....
The season has started? Why didn't someone tell me?

Efgee,
How much will you lay of that 1.33 DTB?
My trigger finger is itching....

How about 7/2 to beat his world record 10 consecutive posts? (win only)

DTB,
You've probably cost me money this week....
After posting a reply to your players to follow... I felt obliged to have a little on Robert Allenby!
Of course there's a pint in it for you should he oblige

I think DTB is a cert as well - I discovered a long time ago that I did not have the time to cap 18-hole matchups as well.

But then again, if you find me posting at 5am (my time) it is because I've been watching NFL/Baseball on British TV and haven't gone to bed yet. When DTB posts at 5am ET, he's already in the office ready for a full day's work

Nice to see the PGATour.com's leaderboards have been given a facelift. Being able to sort by columns is a big improvement. Now I can follow my many picks with easy by setting the leaderboard to have the players listed alphabetically

Oly has 72 continuations up in 2nd also outrights??
Wind projection for today not too bad but yesterdays scores can be discounted as very uncustomarily calm.It won't last all week.
Got 2 72 cont I'm playing @ Oly
Furyk -115 over Verplan
Dimarco -115 over Lickliter

Looking for for plays vs Hoch and Beckman but not much out there yet.Be back if something comes up.

Thanks for pointing out Oly prices DTB would never have thought of looking
Added Duval 8/1 - good price after a solid start
Faxon 25/1 place only - started bogey/bogey and fought back well on the harder back 9 to finish -2

I was looking @ Duval also Ian and found it odd they have him 8/1 win but only 1 1/2 to place. He is one of few to compete with tiger off the tee.I expect Tiger to be tough on par 73.He did his norm yesterday going even on 3's and 4's and -5 on par 5's.

Just wondering, do you guys see any merit in taking Stricker +165 over Joel Edwards for the remainder of the tournament? He starts today two shot back of Edwards.

Haven't given up on 18 hole matches just can't find any without giving up an arm and a leg. With no cut will wait for end for summary of 72 holes, leading 6 of 8 currently but that can flip flop overnight.
Did find something this morning that does provide some value and that is Tiger @ $4 a share in interactives. While chances of winning remote, one of his steller 3rd rds would more than double price and not much downside.Anything can happen in this wind and a good score makes up lots of ground as Calc went from 21st to 5th yesterday.

Ian, I forgot to thank you for taking the time to respond to my question on Stricker/Edwards. Much appreciated. I ended up taking DiMarco over Lickliter for the 72 holes as my only action of the Mercedes. Good luck to everyone.

Finals Matches 6-3 including push for loss

Perry/Hoch win
Sluman/Perry loss
Cimarco/Goosen win
Dimarco/Estes win
Weir/Goosen push>loss
Furyk/Garcia loss
Dimarco/Lickliter win
Furyk/Verplank win
Garcia/Goosen win
week 6-3 ytd 6-3

Outrights Furyk ties for 4th.
+3.5 units for week ytd +3.5

Very lucky start,do not usually have much success on the islands.Had half of wins come in at +odds.Lost 1st and last "ties lose" match of year.As with last year I'll bet them till I lose 1st tie.Didn't have to wait very long this year.
Have not heard of many amatuers who do not understand rules on provisional ball, was interesting to see officials and Verplank claim they didn't on Saturday?

Final update: 1-4-0 and -2.48 units

Maruyama/Beckman Lost by 2
Sluman/Beckman Lost by 10
Sutton/Beckman Lost by 4
Sutton/Calcavecchia Lost by 14
Garcia/Goosen Won by 9

Just like the start to last year. The only good news is that these were only half-plays.

Update on outright plays: 1-2 and +0.63 units

Woods 10th
Love 16th
Furyk 4th

A little lucky that Furyk held on to 4th spot, but a welcome small profit anyway.
