18th Park hits tee shot in rt rough on 390 par 4 and Kerr rt center of fairway. Rough is so-so.

Yep Park leads a -9 Kerr -8.
They showed comment of Park that she has never lost even as a Junior when going into final rd with lead.:eek:

Park hits 5 wood way left of green for extremely tough up and down,Kerr hits 4 iron on top level where pin is today for what should be a 2 putt. Extreme adv Kerr.

SHIT. Park hit it on top green and made about 20footer for par and win.Kerr has about 4 ft left for par but no matter.
Would have given odds of at least playoff. Sorry Guys

Parks shot was about 30 ft left of green in rough to a green with big shelf on top where pin was. She made very good shot keeping it on top and 20 feet from pin. Stepped up and rolled it right in the center with Kerr setting 5 ft from hole for par.
Didn't like Parks chances for Par in rough,still didn't care fpr them on green,but didn't faze her.

Good turn-a-round on the matchups to ensure a profitable event, the only one this week. Good comeback from Ochoa having lost the lead and her game during the 3rd round, but finished one shot short. Will not see 40/1 on her again!

I don't want you to think my play by play was biased toward Kerr but while they did not go into depth about her difficult approach to top tier of green from rough they did confirm my assessment of the putt.:)

WILLIAMSBURG, Va. (AP) -- Grace Park's first shot Sunday was a drive into the water that led to a double-bogey. Her last one of the round was a beauty, a double-breaking par putt of nearly 20 feet that gave her a one-stroke victory in the inaugural Michelob Light Open.
++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
did find a little on up and down---

"Most people at the Kingsmill Resort & Spa's River Course thought a playoff was imminent after Park's approach shot at 18 landed nearly 80 feet from the hole in the left rough. Park chipped to 20 feet, then nailed her 20-foot par putt to seal her fourth career victory"
