spang, good to see you posting. i hope all is well.

any insight on akron's offensive line? can they give jacquemain any time in this game? not that this is inside info, but psu's defensive backfield is going to struggle (lucky for them, they play in the big 10). if akron is able to have any success through the air, i gotta make a small play on the zips and the over. ok, maybe more than a small play on the over.

Hey Smitty, Good to hear from you and Burns as well.

The Zips O line lost All MAC performer Kemme but the other guys are back and two pretty good seniors, Anderson and Bates will serve as the leaders. Another plus is that Walt Harris has been brought in to soup up the passing game. I think that between the new schemes and the experience Jacquemain should be well protected. All in all Akron returns 9/11 of last years starters on offense.

As much as Penn St. will outclass the zips physically, I think Akron's will still manage to put some points on the board.

thanks, spang. it's stuff like this that makes me love this forum so much.

so they return 9/11 starters, but they're trying out a new passing game? that kinda worries me... even against a new defensive secondary, happy valley is no place for the zips to be working out the kinks of a new scheme. hmmm.... i think i'm back to treading lightly on that total.

best of luck to you this season and beyond. :toast:

Thanks Cie, BOL !!

Adding: BG +7 for one unit.
BG +255 ML , risking one unit to win 2.55

I don't like to butt heads with Irish but I have to take a shot with a home dog that has most of their guys back from a team that was just a handful of plays away from being the best in the MAC east last season.

Not a huge play by any means. I sure never intended to have so many plays this week but damn, it sure worked out that way. This is shaping up as a big week for me. I feel like a kid in a candy store. Thank God for college football.

Some much more favorable numbers out there on a few that I can not ignore. Also a couple of add ons based on the gut.

Additional plays:

Zips +29' one unit
W Mich over 53 two units
Mia/ KY under 49 one unit
E Mich -3 (-120) one unit
E Mich/Army over 48 two units

Money lines:
W Mich + 385 one unit
CMU + 485 one unit

3 team 10 pt tease: two units (-120)
WMU +23
Purdue even
CMU +23'

I am very much commited ( or I should be commited period) to having a good week.
I put way too much of my 'roll into this first week.
Just feeling that there is a ton of value in week 1.

I'll also look for some halftime plays to open up and post here if the numbers look right.

BOL to all.
