Am I alone, too much going on......Trying to keep pace in my career, taking care of parent and children over 21 while trying to keep enough for my actual retirement. Some times seems like too much pressure, too many people depending on my income at one time. Is this how it should be? You go on vacation to get away and everyone is jealous that you did not bring them. Jesus Christ......Or did I just spoil both:shrug:

I feel your pain Steve.....My brother and I are caring 24/7 for mom and step dad 90 & 81, both with dementia....I have an 18 yr old daughter heading to college in the fall and a 14 yr old son heading that way as well....both need poking and prodding all the time, but that's our job....:0008

We'll chat/vent together soon....I could use to hear a few y'alls any ways while sipping some whiskey......:0008

Know exactly how you feel...been carrying the same kind of responsibility since I was 17...just turned 60...I've just about had enough....no more loans, co-signing, etc..... its time for someone else to carry the load...ready to kick back & see the country with my wife

Time for children over 21 to man up and become adults. Obviously I know nothing about your situation and children. But the generation of millenials has a hard time getting off mom and dad's teats and paying for all of their expenses does nothing but enable their dependency.

Same Here. Father 90 with dementia, mother 89. Both living with us. Daughter having her second child. Her husband has a pretty good job but they can't pay the bills. It all seems to fall on us.
