She sailed away
On a sunny summer's day
On the back of a crocodile
"You'll see."
Said she
"He's as tame as tame can be,
I'll ride him down the Nile."
The croc winked his eye
As she bade them all good-bye
Wearing a happy smile.
At the end of the ride
The lady was inside
And the smile
Was on the crocodile....

if "bad bobby" moved in next door, your lawn would die...he`d pour lemon juice on your paper cut...

now,"good bobby"?....utterly charming guy...disarming........you love him....

who shows up?...

I sure wish BoundBook, Thunder, Arrow, or some on the other millionaires would just come to the golf outing. I mean, I know that they'd have to play a lower class golf course than they are probably used to, and there is no skiing or anything in Indiana, but could you imagine......the drinks would be a flowin!!! Surely they wouldnt turn their noses up at RollTide's Rolling Bar.....would they??? I always wanted to meet a millionaire. Dare to dream I guess

I could not agree more, Bart. It would be nice to meet one and have them just stock rolltides bar with 80 year old scotch and 100 year old cognac for drinks after golf, and Bordeaux First Growth wines as a side choice

We all have dreams but I guess that we'll just have to settle for being surrounded by their magnificence in print only. :sadwave:

Not often someone admits when they were wrong. Nice move Betone. Hope you can make it to the outing.

Thanks Woody, I will make it to one of these outings as I know it would absolutely be a blast. Have a vacation with my kids whom all fly in from different states planned for that weekend. Hit um Straight.....:toast:

While on topic of millionaires--anyone heard from DJV? Haven't seen Dave post in a while

---and not kidding about millionaire--would wager he almost certainly is--considering conservative lifestyle and and years at (and shares retired with) from ASD.

He pops into the stock thread here in General a few times a month. Yeah, him and you seem to have your financial duckets lined up nicely :D

If he is a millionaire, he is the kind of millionaire I will be in 20 years or so. Got there through hard work, living well below my means, saving diligently and while not going crazy in the markets-- taking enough risk on to see your portfolio grow into a nice 7 figure nest egg for retirement.
Had the pleasure of meeting Dave a few years back--a great guy. We had pizza and beers and he gave us a tour of LaCrosse before we went to the riverfront for the 4th of July fireworks. Don't have family up his way any more or I'm sure we'd have met up a few more times by now.

Never had the pleasure to meet Dave but always one of my favs.

Per above

I'd say it won't take you 20 years--as most that have dicipline you follow --have aquired it from their parents-- lots of money passed down from generation to generation from those with "old school" philosophy- hard work /modest lifestyles values.
