molitor favored over caballero...-160/+120

i wrestled long and hard with this,but i`m going against my canadian brethren and taking caballero at +150....

much as i hate going against homecourt,i have to grab the odds with the height and caballero`s history of fighting well on the road...i`m getting a similar vibe from this as i got when i took verno phillips vs cory spinks...

and i`m not terribly impressed with molitor`s level of competition..not saying he`s not the shit...i just think this is by far his toughest fight...

i`m sure i`ll be sorry:shrug: ...but i have to be the turd in the punchbowl for a small wager....somebody had to do it...

i`ll come back and do my penance after the fight tonight or early tomorrow...:00x11

let me add i`m not making a terribly confident play here....

from the tape i saw,the one thing molitor does is throw nice correct, straight punches and he`s pretty tight with everything....

caballero is usually sloppy and throws way to many slappy type shots....

both throw a nice uppercut....

molitor should use the ring and turn caballero as much as possible... i`m sure he has a tape of cordoba out-slicking caballero....

whichever way it goes,it should be interesting...


has anybody seen a d.q. prop?...i could see caballero getting d.q.`ed because he tends to be wild and may get in trouble for hitting behind the head and low(he`s very effective to the body)...

No play for me on this one.
It seems to me the way to beat Caballero is to dart in a and out using foot speed, and Molitor isn't really that kind of fighter.

Molitor went the distance with Castillo, while Caballero stopped him.

i'm just gonna enjoy the fight.

Money comes and goes, I don't miss it. All of my winnings to go paying debts and bills anyway.

It saddens me to see a nice guy with a great attitude lose in such a manner, and for Canadian boxing to take such a giant step backward.
