Wisconsin-Milwaukee is stumbling into the contest with the 31st fewest points per game in college basketball, having accrued only 63.4 on average. Rhode Island's offense has more to brag about, as they they come into the game boasting the 18th highest field goal percentage in college basketball at 49.30%. So the cards are definitely stacked in their favor.
In the last game, Rhode Island netted a 72-62 victory over the Sacred Heart Pioneers last week.
Five players on Rhode Island scored in the double digits: center Makhel Mitchell (14), guard Ishmael Leggett (12), guard Ishmael El-Amin (11), center Makhi Mitchell (11), and forward Antwan Walker (10). RI is balanced in scoring. They move the ball around and are very efficient. Very well coached team ball! I?ll take my chances against one of the lowest scoring teams in the country! But I could be wrong! We will see! This is the only game I?m playing!
