Good story Riff. I remember headline news:mj07::mj07: I am glad you won the bet. I got a funny one about scores. I read this book by a Cle sportswriter last year, Dan Coughlin. Back about 45 years ago I bet a Coll hoop game. I think it was Tulsa +8 for $500,home dog. Back then you had call the Cleve Plain Dealer to get scores. I am in a bowling alley drinking hard. I called @ HT. The games was close. I figured it was over by now. So I called again It was in OT. I keep calling on a pay phone 10 cents a call. LOL. This same guy kept answering. They are in OT number 7 now. My last call when he answered was "Who did you have?". Tulsa, I screamed at him and said "What was the F-ing score". They lost by 9. In the book they said they hired this guy and didn't have anything for him to do. They all liked him there. So he answered phones for scores. Coughlin said he had a lot of stories about people calling into him. He was a midget. Nothing against the little people, but I felt bad I yelled at him that day after I read the book. I was hoping he would tell my story with the guy in the book. I didn't make the grade.

What are you seing with Norfolk State? They have been feasting on the bottom of the conference and were LUCKY to get past NCCU Saturday. Norfolk is the class of the conference but think this is a tough spot here.

Not sure what is happening with my plays..... Last I looked, Boston/Holy Cross only need about 20 points to get the Over with 7 minutes left...... Looks like the last 5 minutes both teams decided to put a roof on the basket.... *Both teams managed 2 points in last 2 minutes?...... Jackson St was winning most of the game, then the run from hell.... Some weird shit.
