Scott Spreitzer's Monday Night Football "Total" Dominator! *6-1, 86%!
I'm taking the Pats & Ravens to finish UNDER the posted total on Monday. It's a solid spot for those wagering on a defensive game. Baltimore has one last chance to salvage some pride after one of the most disappointing seasons by an NFL team in quite some time. I expect Billick and his defensive staff to take a "no holds barred" approach on the defensive side of the football in order to try and create Patriot mistakes. Baltimore can't afford to sit back so look for them to bring combo-blitzes to the left side of the Patriot offensive line. The Ravens will no doubt get physical with Randy Moss right from the start after watching the Eagles bump him all game last week. On offense, the Ravens will look to keep the clock running with a steady diet of Willis McGahee. We'll also likely see a short passing game, not unlike the style that worked for Philly. The Eagles tested the Pats deep enough to keep the Patriots off-balance however, but the Ravens don't own a consistent deep threat. They're basically a team of possession receivers. Add it up and we'll see a focused effort by Baltimore's proud veterans. Knowing what they need to do to stay in this game, means the contest will stay UNDER the posted total. Thanks! GL! Scott.
