lol........i grew up in Central Kansas in the early to mid 80's.....that should explain it......
at that point in time you chose K-State or KU for you college hoops team, OU or Nebraska for your college football team, the Cowboys or the Chiefs for your NFL team, and the Royals for your baseball team.......
Thus, I am a Jayhawk cbb fan, a sooner football fan, a Royals fan, and a Cowboy fan........gotta realize my demographics to understand......lol.....hope that explains it......

ouch, grew up in arlington and was one until about 96 then jumped shipped, can't stand them now, needless to say a couple of years of going for the bowl hurt them down the line...

I understand your geographical situation, Dr. But I'm a Wichita State cbb fan also, we only exist within the city limits (And sometimes, not even there). GO HAWKS!!
lol.....nighthorse......i followed them too......the Carr brothers and the X-Man were there when i was growing up......glory days of the Shocker program that is for sure......dunno if they will ever get back to it.......been a little drought for them huh?

In the Big 12 you have the superior and the inferior. This is not the Big East where night in and night out you don't know what to expect. Texas Tech made a nice little run against some cupcakes but they have no place with the big dogs in the Big 12 just yet. Bobby Knight may be a great coach but give him sometime to recruit before you expect to hang with the Big Dogs in the Big 12.

again Red Raider, good game last night....the fans were definitely in it and Tech gave UT a great game...
