Now that is the most insightful thing I've heard this year so far. It's amazing how most people just take their world for granted. They trudge on marching to some dull music. With that kind of philosophy, you can actually start to become alive.

The world is an interesting place.

OK OK...this is a sports wagering board.

I don't want to post plays in Happy's home thread. But I did play Wash +11 in a teaser with Denver -2 (already started in TO) and am almost ready to do the Jazz -2? with Denver -2. I play combos of games and most peeps here aren't interested in that. BUT...it's a great angle and that is why the sharp books like Pinny are now charging a higher price for teasers and also parlays. A lot of smart bettors have been very successful with them in the recent past. There are reasons for this. The old mantra about not playing parlays and teasers is just old. :toast:

78 points in the paint, 33 fast break points...

That's how they get it done in Denver!!

This is an interesting strategy. Longhaul has a similar point buying, but straight bets, strategy. I am not sure I buy in yet. I will have to be convinced :)

Straight wagers are working for me, for now!

Cheers

Thanks for the note on the Miami future. I too tend to take the long shots in NHL, MLB and the NFL but, it seems like in the NBA there are really a limited number of teams that have a chance...I think you listed them all.

1Vice had Miami at +195 before the All Star break...I think that was a playable number but, you are right about injuries as they were able to overcome Bosh being out last year but, Chicago couldn't do the same minus Rose.

Continued success this year and good luck with that Indiana play...if Granger can give them some offense I think they are disciplined enough to play with the Heat.
