Natal:

"I had signed the contract with Shine, but as they gave me no opponent yet for the show in May, I asked them to let me fight in another event, because I'm not fighting for a while and I can?t lose the rhythm" explains the Brazilian, who had four fights in 2009, but has not fight this year yet.

"They agreed, so I closed up the Moosinusa contract, an event that will be very cool in Boston and Tim Sylvia will fight against Pudzianowski as the main fight. I will fight with a former challenger for the title of the UFC, Travis Lutter, and I'm sure it will be the greatest fight of my life. I am very pleased with this opportunity,? says to TATAME."

What an athlete. Defeats Federer on clay Sunday, and now will step in the cage the same week. Impressive.

Anyone else see Butterbean has been added to the card in a charity bout against a Boston radio guy. :142smilie

I have some advise for the radio guy. If Butterbean takes this serious then you are gonna get hurt.
I have said this before on here and will post it again.
A friend of my brothers who I know pretty well got his shot at Butterbean and took it(video attached).
There were a few issues with it as he was a day before the event replacement because he was in town and knew the promoter.
Here is the funny thing, HE WAS NOT A BOXER! :142smilie
He was a power lifter who was taking steroids faster than he could get them and admits it.
He had ZERO experience other than goofing around in the ring. Watch the fight and you can tell he has no clue what he is doing and he gets blasted. He said that the KO punch was a miserable feeling and said he could have got up, but he thought NO WAY am I taking another one of those.

He had balls to do it and has pictures as Butterbean took him out drinking afterwards and he said Butterbean was the nicest and funniest guys around.

The funny thing is the announcer said Paul had 4 or 5 Toughman fights a few years before and that was 100% BS. HE HAD ZERO FIGHTS OF ANY KIND.

If you call Paul's phone the anwsering machine message is the Buffer lead in intro. :mj07:

Your friend looks like the typical steroid ahole. He made a fool of himself so it all works out.

He is far from an ahole. He is a HS coach and very funny. He does some wild shit.
He may have made a fool of himself, but would you turn down a chance to fight Butterbean on National tv if you were givent eh shot?

Sidenote: Nevada commision has come a long way since these days. He was on steroids and not even licensed. They pretty just looked the other way back in those days.

Cool story, bro

I used to fucking LOVE Tuesday night fights. I'd stay up passed my bedtime and watch it on USA. Great showcasing of up and comers and some damn good matchups.

I was in heaven at the time with all the boxing being televised (Tuesdays on USA, ESPN2 (every friday), ESPN Classic (at the time mainly black and white films of old fights), Saturdays on HBO (BAD & WCB) & on Showtime, and Sundays on Fox Sports, and occasionally TNT and regular ESPN would air fights.

Back to Moosin

I like Yves Edwards to beat Campbell. Campbell is STRONG and athletic but for whatever reason can't put it together when he fights the upper guys. I do think Campbell can take him down but i don't think he can hold him down for the full fight (he'll either get tapped or Yves will get back up and force the striking) Eventually he's gonna get put in a bad spot and i believe Yves can end it.

Is this thing even being televised??

Not showing a PPV listing for it and don't think it is on HDNET.

a guy on another board posted this:

"I went to the press conference today

Sylvia told me he weighed "about" 300 lbs. He's heavy.

Pudzianowski snapped at a kid for taking his photo. He looked stressed.

Roxanne Modafferi is not hot"

there you go. inside info.
