mine is kind of an overrated list and some are wtf are they still doing in the UFC?

Cheick Kongo

Wanderlie Silva (presently, but not in his earlier years)

Rashad Evans (sponge, we'll see how overrated "the dragon" is soon :0corn )

Sean Sherk

James Irvin (all most people remember about him is how he canned my next overrated fighter)

Houston Alexander (how is he still in the UFC???)

Antoni Hardonk

Manvel the Anvil

Tyson Griffin

Matt Serra

and number 1.... Clay the Carpenter that lays on you and mauls you with his hair Guida

i disagree with a lot of stuff in here. U can't say Bisping is overrated when he took Rashard the distance. I use to think he was overrated but not anymore. Raw as for Henderson tiring. I must have missed that and sure as heck didn't see him gas against Silva. He went a hard five with Rampage. something those Rua brothers would dream about.

Off the top of my head it would be
1. Baroni
2. Vera
3. Rua brothers
5. Colture.......:scared :scared
6. Little Evil
7. Uri Faber
8. Mirko Cro Cop Filipovic
9. Paulo Filho
10..oH and the biggest one Machida

Oddmakers agree that Bisping is overrated because he is a 17-1 UFC hyped fighter who is a 3-1 underdog to Dan Henderson. Top tier guys are never 3-1 underdogs. They clearly want money to come in on Bisping.

I do agree Baroni was once overrated, but present day I think people have seen the light on him as the crappy fighter that he currently is. If we go by guys overrated that are losing more than winning then the list starts with Ken Shamrock.

Machida is boring but overrated is pushing it. He is unbeaten and is a nice size fav over Rashad. Machida has wins over Penn,Tito,Franklin,Bonnar, and Thiago Silva so how is that overrated??

Im only kidding about Machida. That was for Gary to go ballistic :142smilie I think he is a terrifc fighter and i can't wait till him and Rashard go at it. I will be on Rashard tho because i think it is a very even fight. Plus i never saw Machida's jaw tested and Rashard has one of the best in the business alone with his athletic ability. To close to call so i have to take the undefeated champion with those great odds. IM pulling a kickserv except i believe he will win instead of just betting a dog and hoping i get lucky.

I haven't lost a fight since my Dela Hoya debacle. Its about 14 in a row (2 boxing) and if the streak is still going by then im sure Rashard will keep both our steaks alive. Machida knockouts are against suspect chins. Rashard has a granite chin. I think Rashard gets hit a little more then i like but he will get the job finished that Tito came very close to getting.

Henderson said himself that "something happened to him" and he lost all his wind in the first round. I think Rogan spoke with him after the fight, and it sounded like he just completed the Boston Marathon.... and the fight was inside 2 rounds.

I don't think Bisping's chin is overrated, or his ability to "go the distance." He went the distance w/ Rashad b/c he didnt engage, all he did was maintain a "safe" distance. He only seems to engage against lesser opponents, like McCarthy and Day.

Like kegray said, Bisping needs to finish a decent opponent before he's deserving of all this fame and fortune.

Other than that, I pretty much agree w/ your whole list, except for Faber.

I think Nick Diaz, Sylvia, Arlovski, Gilbert Melendez and Nogueira (at this point) are all overrated.

Yeah Faber is not overrated, I think Brown was underrated and gave him hell.

Nog is WAY overrated currently if UFC thinks he has anything left. He just stands with you and goes toe to toe and it cost him the Mir fight.
Nog is 3-2 in his last 5 fights and could easily be 0-5 in them. Sylvia and Herring had him and didn't attack him when he was wounded like Mir did.

Faber to me is a lot of hype and would get waxed by a lot of the 155 pounders in ufc if they cut to 145. Brown will beat him again.

Faber overrated?

I don't get that one.

I agree that Mike Brown was just underrated going in. He needs a nickname.

Mike "Stinky" Brown??

I just dont think he does anything special. His hands to me are very average. Think he wins more with cardio then anything else. Just outworks guys.

U like him because u think he is cute :thefinger

Umm.... he's a badass fighter. Go back and watch his first fight w/ Pulver if u wanna question his hands. Power? Speed and accuracy? He has both.

That said, he's not as good as Mike Brown... Their rematch should be classic.

Pulver is a stiff right now. For it to take Faber five rounds to get a decision with him gives my case a boast. Pulver is washed up. That is why Faber blitzed him the last fight. I think somebody wispered in his ear that it shouldn't have taken him that long to beat a guy like a washed up Pulver the first time. Im not saying Faber is a bad fighter at all i just think the hype is a little to much.
