And that is the unwritten rule about being a black Republican. You?re welcome in the party as long as you never ever ever mention race. Yes, even if you?re asked a question about a place called the Niggerhead Ranch, the correct response is, ?Oh, the media, they?re such a bunch of troublemakers! I think it?s a fine name for a ranch. Thanks for inviting me! And what cool hoods you guys have. And, by the way, what are we hunting??

This is really the truth about the GOP

Herman X has no chance

Herman X may as well step aside now.

Just let the big dogs eat

You know the dumb ones with millions in coffers to spend.

Mitt Romney hires illegals to mow his lawn.

And he once had a maid from Honduras that did not have papers.

Wait a minute.

maids, lawnmowers, how does this relate to what is important for America.

Pity really

But on the other hand, Perry has fallen far. There is good reason to believe he has dug himself a hole he cannot climb out of, something the Romney campaign is keen to highlight. On Friday afternoon they sent out a comparison of polls in the first five primary states -- before Perry's first debate Sept. 7 and then more recently -- that showed Perry's support has dropped in those states from an average of 25 percent to 8 percent over the last six weeks or so.

Perry has gone from 21 percent to 7 percent in Iowa, from 18 percent to 2 percent in New Hampshire, from 36 percent to 11 percent in South Carolina, from 29 percent to 12 percent in Nevada, and from 21 percent to 10 percent in Florida.

If Romney thinks Perry can come back from this, he will not change course in Iowa, where he has waged a low-intensity campaign. But all signs now are that the Romney campaign views the Texan as on the mat and is simply trying to keep its foot on his neck, so he doesn't get up and mount a comeback.

The Romney campaign has continued to go after Perry in recent days, attacking him relentlessly (and getting it back from the Perry campaign just as frequently). Romney himself focused his criticism on the Texan in the last debates.

"It's time for you to tell the truth," Perry said during last week's Republican debate, all but calling the former Massachusetts governor a liar.

The Texas governor also is trying to cast Romney as someone who lacks a core set of beliefs, highlighting Romney's shifts on health care and other issues in hopes of dislodging him from atop the field.

Romney is portraying Perry as a dimwitted novice who coddles illegal immigrants and takes liberties with his economic record.:scared

"The great challenges we have we will overcome," Romney said in South Dakota recently, "if we have leaders that will tell the truth, and live with integrity, and who, by virtue of their life experience, know how to lead." It was a suggestion that Perry didn't fit that bill.

The amped-up rhetoric signals a more aggressive phase in the race and sets the tone in the 10 weeks before the nominating contest begins in Iowa in early January. It also illuminates campaign strategies and previews likely attack ads sure to surface on television soon.

It's raised concerns among some Republicans, who fear a drawn out, personal battle between their top contenders will only help President Barack Obama's chances of winning next year.

"I don't like that, I'm not for that. I'm a Ronald Reagan Republican, he didn't think it was smart to attack each other and I don't either," oil billionaire T. Boone Pickens told Fox News last week after Romney and Perry got in each other's faces during the Las Vegas debate.

I dont think a dimwit is what we need to run America.

We had that for 8 long years

oh for the days of Sarah Palin

at least she was stupid about her stupidity

no I actually might vote for Cain

but i also know that even if he is leading all primarys that Cain will not be the nominee by the GOP. And that is sad aint it ?

Just like we know that Ron Paul will not be the nominee.

The big power people that choose Presidents will not have either of these two.

Do you hate Cain Ronnie ?

If you had to choose between Cain and Perry right now who would you think is the better man ?

?Rick Perry has a huge problem with his stance on illegal immigration. He has tried to define himself positively as the jobs candidate. So what does he do? He makes an attack on Mitt Romney that guarantees a massive focus on illegal immigration. Look at the coverage of the N.Y. Times: one story on the lawn and garden service, and a bundle on immigration. Immigration dominated the message from the debate. There is no way that Rick Perry wins in that situation. In every one of the early states, he has a negative fav/unfav. Debates matter in presidential politics. Anything matters that takes your candidate down 20-plus points in ballot share and a 50-point shift in fav/unfav. At a certain point, you have to attract voters. He hasn?t attracted a new voter since the first week.?

.......................................................

so if you collect 25 million bucks for your campaign contributions.

If you do no win and dont use the money, do you get to keep it and live happily ever after ?

where does that money go.

seems like it would be easy to hide it in expenses with planes , travel, and hotels and such ?
