I thought season 3 was some of the best dark comedy I have ever watched.
Deeper Character Studies as I explained to my wife who be-grudgingly watched all Season 3 w/me after enjoying 1and 2
I can certainly appreciate viewers not enjoying the deeper dive but that's where Christopher Storer
Creator,Writer,Director,Screenwriter,Executive Producer, was taking this story .
Human connection at a cost.
funny, to me it felt like a show that had run longer than its expected life and had nowhere to go.

i thought the first two episodes and nat having her baby were particularly painful. the tina episode was nice and the finale was decent.

We've established that Black Mirror is the best TV series ever by far... but for you Sci-Fi lovers... 'DARK' on Netfilx is pretty sick. Just finished the first season and i highly recommend if you like this genre

Tried to watch Oppenheimer and I thought what over indulgent horseshit. Once was a great director but now couldn't shine Denis Vellenueve's shoe.

I also have to call out Oppenheimer as overindulgent, and it lacked the elements of a gripping drama because of its structure, not because the outcome was never in doubt. But my biggest knock against the film was the score. After 20 minutes or so I realized I had to turn on the closed captioning or the movie would have been unwatchable. As someone else described it, "(t)his score is mindless, simplistic, repetitive, stupid loud bass notes." 7.5 out of 10 is being generous.

The more I think about it I really have only thought highly of his Batman trilogy and the superb 'Insomnia' movie. 'Dunkirk and The Prestge were rock solid. Too many tricks in his movies.

Other then the Dark Knight I can't think anything of his that equals the two Dune movies, Blade Runner 2024, Sicario or Prisoners. To each their own.

apparently i am firmly in the minority when it comes to dunkirk. being very familiar with the history, i had high hopes for the movie. but the way he jumped around with the different timelines... i just found it incredibly distracting. it's annoying watching a historical drama and constantly wondering "wait, when are we in the story right now?" felt like he did it just because he could, certainly not because it added anything.

Your right. I thought it was fairly good but I went too fair saying it was rock solid there have been much better WW2 movies. Probably seen A Bridge Too Far over 20 times, lol.

I finally watched A Bridge Too Far a year or two ago. Yup, that was pretty good. When I first read your post, I thought you were talking about Bridge Over the River Kwai. Also a fantastic movie.

I assume you've seen Band of Brothers, but in case you haven't, it's excellent.

Band of Brothers i have watched more than the Eagles Superbowl victory. What a fantastic series and generation of Americans!
