Finely chopped with a little vinegar and peppers, etc......quite good, if you have ever been to Chicago you would see it. Usually bright green, nad on any chicago style dog.........which is why I am a litle disappointed in ddubs takin catsup on his dogs:(

After browsing through this forum a couple times, the heading made me remember a girl from high school. I am not sure what she liked on her hot dog but she had to have it removed at the doctor's office.

I wonder if the doctor served it up with ketchup or mustard????

I am a mustard& kraut man for hotdogs , ketchup for burgers& fries.I wonder if that makes me a traditionalist ?I have seen people put both mustard & ketchup on hotdogs. That does not lay well with me(lol).

Peanut Butter on a Hot Dogs? :nono: Anyway, I like Mustard (Grey Poupon or Dijonaise) on Hot Dogs with Garlic Powder and Celery Seeds. Burgers its either Ketchup or BBQ sauce. Same for fries. Finally, never EVER any Mayo. Hate the crap.

MUSTARD. I hate ketchup and will not eat it at all.

I love ranch though on hamburgers and fries. Ranch is my substitute for ketchup.

As for on a hotdog, you need it Alabama style. Mustard, Chile, Keyan Pepper, and Sour Kraut. Now that is a hot dog. Don't knock it until you have tried it.

if you really want to get SERIOUS about this subject....hook up
with some 100% German neighbors if you can and invite them
over for a bar b choo and then politely ask if they would mind
returning the favor with some homemade brat and kraut.......
you people from Mich, Minn, Wisky, know what i'm talkin bout...
those folks took hotdogs to a world record level....then throw in
some German brewsky and doesn't get any better....!!!

The choice would definitely be ketchup if only one choice allowed. I prefer ketchup, mustard and a dash of habanero sauce. If you're using anything less than habanero sauce for a hot taste, you're a wuss. I use ketchup with almost everything I eat but it has to be Heinz, not Hunt's or that Del Monte crap. I use so much ketchup, that some people think I was named after it.

The sauce I got is great because it comes in a simple bottle. When people come over to eat, I leave it out with the other sauces and hope for an unsuspecting victum to come along. :p
