if i can clear this up even slightly, here goes: I have known scott longer and better than anyone on this board (that might be damning, i know, hehe)...

he IMed me close to 3 years ago off a MJs post and we talked quite a bit for a long time ... he started gambling by betting small amounts and though I have never been to LA to check his bank ledger, etc., I believe I know what he bet and how he bet back when b/c I think I know phonies and people pretty well ...

That said: sure he bets $10 sometimes and then he bets 10K--hes said/posted that many times ... I do the same crazy thing; I will bet $5 then 1K at times when the time to strike seems right ... whether others believe him, doesnt really matter other than fodder to argue...

i am only guessing, but ever since i known scott he's prob up 50K, the vast majority thanks to USC's renaissance ... Are there things abotu scott i wish I could strangle out of his narrow mind at times?--sure--but overall he is highly entertaining ...

hope some of this helps

ScottUSC is the biggest sack of BS on the net

ScottATL knows all about losing big bets and has the guts to admit it when he loses

ScottUSC is too much of an narcissist to do likewise

Saying that you are not going to hedge then claiming that you won 7500 after the fact just adds more to this clown's idiotic resume

all we know is this:

1. (Most likely) The guy lost a 10$ wager on the series but because of his diseased personality he turns it into this obsession

2. The guy lost his bet, did not hedge, and because of his narcisstic need for attention and ego stroking, he had to claim he bought it back....this coming from the same guy who posts every bet he makes and post proudly the amounts he bets....total BS

That is Dr. Freeze's assessment.

Plan: Refill ScottUSC's haldol

Guess you have a difficult reading comprehension. Let me spell it out to you exactly what I did. I had 10k to win 5k on Celtics to win series after game 1. I did not place a single wager on the series since placing the bet until tonight. Before tonights game 7, I was thinking about betting Pacers +170 ML, Pacers +4, or keeping my bet. I decided to keep my bet. I posted this. After the 1h, I decided to cut my losses. I bet $7,500 to win $7,500 Pacers +4 2h. Therefore I lose $2,500 no matter who wins, UNLESS Celtics won by 1pt. THIS WAS POSTED IN THIS THREAD! ITS DOCUMENTED!

I said it seems like I won $7,500 instead of losing $2,500 because if I kept my bet (not betting 2h Pacers +4) I would have lost $10,000 tonight (my original wager). The poster BLACKMAN said something similar to this as well. Guess you have issues with him as well.

Why is this so difficult to understand? Do you posters think you can't place 2nd half bets? Is it not allowed to bet on the OTHER team to cut your losses? I don't get you people.

I even said in previous posts that I was thinking about leaving my original bet and seeing how the 1h went. Thats exactly what I did. All bets placed by me were posted.

You people are really jealous. I can't believe the posts in this thread. Doesn't make sense at all.

I challenge ANYBODY to find one thing I did suspicious and prove it. Pinnacle has $10,000 max online bets for 2h. I placed $7,500 wager 2h +100. Maybe you didn't realize Pinny has that LARGE of limits.

I can't believe these lame accusations towards me. Especially when everything I posted was legit! I could understand if after the game I posted I hedged. I POSTED 5min. after the 1h ended that I bet $7,500 on Pacers 2h. NO CHEATING or FOUL play by me.

I posted my 2h bet RIGHT after G-man2 posted he took Celtics 2h. Its all documented.

You are a joke Dr. Freeze. I just proved your whole post to be full of BS. Next time think before you post, especially when making accusations against someone. :banghead: FYI, don't make false accusations against someone smarter than you. He will make you look foolish.

All these posters wanted me to lose and are pissed I bought my bet back. They are upset I lost $2,500 instead of $10,000. Completely ignoring the brilliant move of buying my bet back and taking Pacers +4 2h +100 and taking guaranteed $2,500 loss. Maybe there is an unwritten rule here at MJ's where you can't buy your bet back. I dunno.

IMO, this is a classic example of posters being jealous. Especially when these kids are posting false accusations! If you are going to accuse someone or try and question their integrity, you would think they be smart enough to get their facts straight! :mj03:

This thread is comical........first off I believe Scott when he said he put 7500 on the pacers at half.......after watching the 1st half I dont remember the Celts even being up so I would have had a bad feeling also.......if your teams cant even get a first half lead then maybe they are in trouble.....

I dont think he would have been ashamed to admit he lost 10,000 anyway if he would have just stayed on Boston and lost it all......

I think it is very realistic to take a 2500 loss when you expect the team you bet on to go up 2-0 in a 7 game series..........hell the way Boston went through Indy that first game I may have placed the same wager.........

I know Scott has won a bundle on the last few big futures he has placed.........won on Boston..ws.......won on Unc in college hoops and won big on USC vs oklahoma.........so after winning so much on those 3 futures why would he have to lie about hedging out of a bet........hell whats $2500 or even $10,000 when you have won big $$$ on the last 3 futures you have placed..........I would take a big 3-1 record on these type of bets anyday.........
SCOTTS TRACK RECORD SPEAKS FOR ITSELF........

Everyone leave Scott-Atlanta alone.

How would you feel if you were an attention whore and public enemy #1 on a message forum and someone with a similar name comes in and turns into a bigger antagonist and is a much much bigger attention whore. If someone named BobbyBlueGuy came on and started posting Cubs picks, I would probably start using GOY, Game of the Century, and Biggest Bet of the Decade in my subject lines, too.

This thread was never about Boston-Indiana, it was about ScottUSC and his need for some sort of wierd acknowledgement. I have no doubt that ScottUSC has made money over the last 2 years, but if Wannstedt's Dolphins went 26-6 against the number over the past two years, Highroller would be the toast of the board, too.

Keep your chin up, Scooter. You'll always be the Scott at Madjack's to me.

and, Freeze, you make sooo much sense outside of the political forum. It's scary.

Lol I was thinking the same thing...Freeze is pissed Scott beat him in ther HUGE PLAY wager so know he is trying to make himself better about the money he lost by saying Scott did not win squat...Ive always liked your picks/posts Freeze, but I don't know why you give Scott so much shit...ie he wants to put up a $1 MILLION WAGER then let it be, you (and the rest of us on this board) do not know who he is and what kind of financial backing he has. Maybe he is making these big bets, maybe he is not. Point is, he puts out alot of good info and I do not see why you bust his balls and constantly criticize him. Even if he is a narcissistic attention seeking Trojan, let him be, he tries to hlep others win money...gl

LOL.....I was thinking the same thing. Been waiting for Freeze to respond "positively" to Scott4USC after he stuck his foot in his own mouth with all the pre-Nat'l Championship game PAC-10/USC-bashing. Guess it's just not in his character to admit it when he's dead wrong. Quite lame IMO.

It is very uncharacteristic of Scott Atlanta to be confrontational. I am shocked and appalled.

By the way..this is a very entertaining thread. Thanks.

By the way, I won 42 thousand on this series. :)

I know a few Asian heavy hitters in the Dallas/Ft. Worth area and they keep very low profiles about their betting habits and routines. Given they are all mainly store and restaurant owners and gamble heavy dollars (from 5K-30K) and a few of them I know for sure visit handicapping sites. But they don't reveal themselves and boast about their picks and/or plays. From my experiences, most people on the internet seldom bet what they post. To me, a few hundred to a dime on a game is alot of moola. Basically, what I'm trying to say is that it's alot easier to type what you bet on a game then to really lay the jack on it. Either way, this was a very joyful and entertaining thread...

You can't make a statement like"I don't practice money management" and then claim to be of superior intelligence.Everyone who knows something about sports gambling knows money management is a key component of it.However,it is usually the last thing for the handicapper to learn, and learning the lesson often comes hard. You are only 24 supposedly. You just wiped out 25 100 dollar winners with this nonsense, just because the Celtics won game 1 in convincing fashion and you got the itch for ACTION and ATTENTION.The odds are if you don't quit expanding your bets size, you'll be broke by 30.You love the adrenaline and attention it brings. This is the side of sports gaming you must ignore, constantly increasing the size of your bets is a sign of a compulsive gambler, not something you post on the internet.Learn your lession and accept that money management is an important part of the activity and save yourself this painful lesson.Do some reading for God sake.Your opinion that moneymanagement doesn't count is sad and laughable. There are a lot of good pickers waiting tables in Las Vegas who've ignored money management as well.Quit thumbing your nose at moneymanagement if you want people to take you seriously.

Scotty-Atl, Just noticed this thread. Definitely agree with Sun Tzu, Bobbychips, Edludes, Dr. Freeze and yourself.

ScottUsc is an attention seeking tool.

He is fond of saying, 'it is documented', as if the act of him typing that he bet 10 dimes on a play is verification of anything.

Couldn't you just say, 'I love this play and i'm playing more than usual on it?' No, not him. That wouldn't garner much attention, so he throws out his monopoly money amounts. That's better. That gets 160 responses. He's a clown.
