update. biopsy back. stage 3b cancer. not good. it's in the l-nodes. next test is a brain scan to see if it has reached the brain. if it hasn't reached the brain they give him a 35% chance ti live one year with chemo and radiation a 25% chance to make it 2 years
i've talked to him on the phone. sounds like he's just going thru the motions. not like him. i'm going to visit him today thru saturday and talk to some dr's and visit with bro and sis and him, of course, trying to figure this mess out.

Im sorry MJ. Keep your head up. Dad will be happier if he see that. I didn't know your Dad lived in Georgia. For some reason I believed he lived close to you. Like Doc said above if your not sure of what there saying ask for another opinion. Good Luck.
I wish there was something I could say that hasn't been said that could make this all go away, hang in there Jack, stay positive. With all due respect to the good doctor in the forum, they don't know everything and this can be beat reguardless of the outlook.

Jack, we've never met as I'm fairly new to the board, but just from reading your post and the posts of everyone else, I would consider it a privalege to know you and your dad.
I do pray every day, and I will admit that a small % is to cover the spread lol, but the majority is for friends, family and others.
I'm a true believer in prayer, and your dad will be in my prayers, along with all the rest of my friends and family that require some help, every day till I hear he's beat this. And believe he will.
