Hope that is the case here, also. Fishing is great for kids. Took mine deep sea fishing twice a year when they were young on my Uncles boat in Venice, and they have been crazy about it since. Just got back from there this week and caught many grouper. Caught 12 different species, which is always fun. Son-in-law from Russia now loves it as well. :0069

It really is. He takes us about 13-15 miles out between Venice and Sarasota, and on those reefs you can literally not know what is coming up. You can tell by the bites sometimes fishing in 40-60 feet of water what is going to come up. as usual, best part is it is "catching", not fishing. Constant action. Most grouper are too small, but still, catching 16-20" grouper is a blast. We got 8 keepers between 21-25", and then fried some grouper sandwiches when we got in. Awesome.

hopefully they'll want to hang with their granddad forever, mine are my life... They spent last weekend with us, it was fun but man I'm getting too old to keep up... :toast::toast::toast:
