Garrit Cole and his 1.76 in his last 22 starts speaks for itself....Rays will struggle again today to get runners on early....I see a quick 1-2-3 first for Cole...
Blake Snell is the wild card here, 3 appearances since coming off the DL....(2) first inning runs vs the Jays after 2 outs (2 weak singles, GR-D and 2 pop outs and a K), no first inning runs vs the Sox (2-W's 3-K's) & Dodgers (2k's and a pop out to 1st)?..The pop outs scare me some as the Astros can go yard in a hurry.
Snell can pitch, last years Cy Young winner...I doubt the Rays are looking to get more than 3/4 innings today out of Snell, just blow it by them early Blake and add to the bankroll.... :SIB<strike></strike>
