Darn weather holding up my ball games. Huck we have not said a lot about car 20. Any good match ups with 20 could be worth a chance. I do like the 2 units you played on 20 to win. GL TO ALL.

Thanks Chucky.....let's hope it's a safe one too.

DJV....although 20 has not finished well at all here over the last few years (43,26,36 in the last 3), he has run really well. As you can see, I took the silly price of +130 ov the 88 of Jarrett, but the other matchups out there aren't that great IMO.

I see him matched up against the 18, but -150 is a little much for as much bad luck as he's had here lately. Although the 20 ov 6 is interesting at -125, Martin has been too consistent for me to bet against.

If there are no big wrecks (yeah, right!), he will be up there for sure.

Congrats, Huck. Got a piece of Waltrip at 12/1. You and 1837 really had nice days in Auto Racing. Way to go.

THANKS Chucky!

THANKS Chucky!

It was nice to hit that one! He (and 8) had once again the best cars. Even though there were way to many wrecks and issues for my tastes, ( I love boring races and 1-0 pitching duels) I was obviously glad w/ the outcome.

I'm sure 1837 will continue this great weekend later today.

Nice job Huck. Im glad you did not find anything good to use the 20 on. He sure had a chit night. I was surprised JR pulled out of line with 4 to go. I thought he would wait for 2 maybe even 1. That way he might still have took 3rd or 4th. That move cost him.

Huckleberry,

I've been away from the computer since yesterday, but just wanted to tell you congrats. DEI was just too strong last night. Unfortunately for me, my local had the 15 at 7-1 so I passed and tried a few others (20, 48, 10, 97). Three of my four cars were basically out of contention within the first 20 laps  I was pretty dissapointed in the 97, but that's just the breaks.

By the way, if you notice, I dropped the Yankees logo. I didn't want to offend you, you're too valuable to the forum to upset :grins:

Let's smack the man around this week at Chicago!!

I wonder if Rusty could have passed Waltrip with the 8 shuffled back had Newman not wrecked? He was definitely closing in and Marlin was ready to help

Yeah DJV.....In a way I'm glad to see the Jr. took at shot at passing his teammate, but no one came with him. 40 said he would stick on 2's bumper and he actually stuck to that deal.

And yeah.....97 was pretty tragic......I still don't have any idea what the first black flag was all about. The 20 also had his typical Daytona luck getting bounced around so freaking early in the race......I thought I was miraculously going to win the 20 ov 88 matchup when 88 got REAL STUPID and put that block move on 99 and wrecked.

My early take on Chicago is going to be about those "young guns". I think 48, 12, 17 and 97 will have good races.

Oh, and Myron......you can just stop wondering right now. NO ONE was going to pass the 15, help or no help. Waltrip was not going to give up the bottom, so any passing would have to be done high, and any deal 40 had w/ the 2 would have most likely been all finished w/ 41 (Marlin's teammate) behind the 40. Even with help, 15 would have just blocked.

On that note though, Nascar NEEDS TO DESPERATELY have a policy on when/if to red flag a race. I think fans and drivers just want a clear understanding on when they will (number of laps left needed in order to accomodate the green/white/checker finish) and when they won't.

They better find away to give then some HP back and let-em go. They will kill someone else soon in one of those big wrecks. The rules help the wreck happen. I know the drivers still need to drive smart. But the air around those cars make them do chit they never did before.

I'm not sure going faster will help the situation. That would really separate the teams a ton, as the highly funded operations will be able to dominate more than they do now through even more r/d. Then the fans will complain again like they did that the races are too boring, because the same teams win these races over and over again.

Not sure what the solution is really....but you are right DJV......these wrecks are getting scarier every race. I just think you'll see more work and time spent on the expansion of that "greenhouse" in order to make the drivers even safer.
