Let's try this....

Let's try this....

ODDS TO WIN:
40 S. Marlin 25-1 2 units
88 D. Jarrett 19-1 2units
41 J. Spencer 28-1 2units
99 J. Burton 20-1 2units

Going at it light again this weekend. Arguably, the 24 and 20 looks to be the class of this field, but with odds so low on them, it's not worth it to back them at a track such as this, where it's so much more about luck. Still really like the 55, but not pulling the trigger on 35-1 before Q took all his value out IMO. He sure does look good though.

MATCHUPS:
55 ov 9 -115 5units
41 ov 12 -115 5units
32 ov 22 -115 5units
32 ov 19 -130 3units
36 ov 15 EV 4units

Race results: 2-4; -5.30 units

Poor race, particularly with a loss on the 3-unit play. Just Petty and Blaney came home ahead. At least there are two other races this weekend to make amends ;)

YTD
Qualifying: 5-3; +1.00 units
Race: 23-12; +5.53 units

Not so good...

Not so good...

Well, the only car that had a chance to cash was the 88 of Jarrett, but once 17 started banging, it was all over, and B. Labonte won his first short track race.
Really shouldn't of been a major surprise really, as the 18 has had solid finishes here recently and was included in the "Drivers To Watch" post.
As far as the matchups, the 32 car was dialed in great for this race until he got near that damn Spencer. He sure can be a menace, and it cost me a good day there.

ODDS TO WIN:
Week: -8 units
Season: -17units

MATCHUPS:
Week: -3.65
Season: +15.35

Talladega up next week. Love that race.
